As someone old enough to remember tony gwynn, I never thought I would ever witness a better pure left handed hitter. Watching soto game after game and at bat after at bat, Im seriously starting to reconsider that. His superhuman command of the strike zone and how unaffected he is against left handed pitching and in two strike counts is just mesmerizing to watch
Been watching most of their games this season. Really learning and getting entertained from their patient offence. It’s literally 3 or 4 innings in and the opposing pitcher already has over 60 or 70 pitches in. U can tell Soto is rubbing off some discipline to the other dawgs in the lineup
Dan at YA, what a difference in your coverage. You covered each pitch to Judge in the 9th, then the tossing of the Jays coach. Not seen at MLB, Keep up the great work and GO YANKEES!
First Place Bronx Bombers with another unbelievable comeback. Talk about a emotional rollercoaster. Innings 1-8 looked like an embarrassing sweep, but 9th clutch clutch hitting. Some players that needed to step up did at the right moment. GO YANKEES!!!#CHASEFOR28
While I’m grateful we’ve had so many great comebacks this season even this early. For the sake of all Yankees fans hearts, I hope it isn’t a trend this season.
Dan, your highlights really are a cut above. You really know how to select the right clips to tell the story of the game, and indulge us with in-depth coverage and replays of key moments. Your highlights really capture the game. Thanks and keep doing what you do! Let’s go Yankees!
These are the types of victories that will win us a 28th championship, although I do suspect that Aaron Judges injury from spring training is not 100% healed. This team has the fortitude to win games if they try.
@cvonbarron something off about him. He has a high kick now, which was changed when he first came up. When he hit 62 he had the best swing. Should go back to it. But he is hurt. So if you believe someone, cause they say there isn't enough evidence. Your gullable af.
@@mosheshapiro2736Lol there's no such thing as a "race card". Either you're racist or you're not. I get that word makes you uncomfortable but it's a fact.
You hope? He didn’t forget how to play. He will start seeing the ball real good at some point. Soto will struggle at some point as well. It’s the nature of the game.
I was a little worried these last 3 games, that they were reverting to last year's team. Sunday's game they should have won, bullpen blew that one, but, today they were back to their old selves. Keep it up fellas.
Been a fan of Gleyber since day one but geez he’s seriously been slacking off defensively….and it stands out even more in an infield where Waldo and Volpe are ELITE defenders
Great comeback! Stro pitched really well! The offense came alive in the 9th! Holmes locks it down! Off day tomorrow and then back home against the Rays! Let's go Yanks! #RepBX
It makes sense to see Verdugo (sorry if I misspelled it I am high) to be extra pumped to see Jude with that clutch hit. He watched that guy kill him as a Red Sox for years. He has wondered what that feeling would be like all year. This team has something special once Judge gets his court in session 💪👨⚖️
Wow, I didn't expect Volpe to make plays like that at SS. Heard talk about moving him to OF this offseason. Is he really that good at SS or was that one of those lucky plays?? I haven't watched him enough to know determine for myself. Also that was a rocket to Rizzo. Heard he didn't have a lot of arm strength?? Maybe it's still too early to determine if he's the future at SS as Oswald Peraza is suppose to be superior defensively but we'll see🤷♂ BTW: IDK how Torres didn't get charged with an error but every time I see an E on the stat sheet I fully expect it to him and it usually always is. Dude blows. Gives hella Gary Sanchez vibes. Should have traded him while he still had value. Now we gotta put up with him.
As a Yankee fan living in Seattle, I would always shout "Zunino-for-4" when the Mariners former catcher came to bat. Perhaps I cursed the team because Austin Wells is not a MLB hitter. If Bill Dickey was resurrected he could hit at least as well.
Thank God Dan is back with the highlights! Dan I would prefer the Yanks to trade Gleyber what do you think? If we did I gotta be honest I don’t know who’s play 2nd can you educate me? (🇬🇧fan)
Michael King 7 2/3 INN 2 hits 10K today is killing it in SD. Of course trade still worth it but would be sweet to still have King in the rotation. Potential ace. Also its gonna cost $400M to resign Soto and I dont know if cheap Hal is gonna go there after paying Judge.Thats close to a billion dollars for two outfields🤷♂
I love Soto shaking his head no to the pitcher when he walked in the 9th 😂😂 both of the last two pitches balls but the pitchers looking to get both called strikes lmao
Let's get Volpe into the leadoff spot where he belongs, and then let's keep him there for more than fifteen seconds. I am so sick and tired of this team pissing around with its lineup every single bleeping day.
As a fan outside the U.S. it always gets me how baseball managers are allowed to abuse the umps on national TV and don’t even get find. It’s a bit of a laugh as it’s part of the show, but I can’t think of any other sport in any other country where you get away with doing this. Usually it’s not regarded as a good example for the kids. In cricket you would get into serious trouble even if the umpire was obviously wrong. But now they have a TV replay system a bit like the electronic strike zone. Surely that’s the way to go in baseball?
If we don't resign Juan Soto, it's going to be very difficult to be a Yankee fan. I love Judge as much as the next guy, but a guy like Soto only comes around once in a generation for a team. He's already a better all-around ball player than Jeter.
Imagine we trade Torres , if he keeps making errors, we should, have Cabrera start at 2B and I promise you a team will give us something for Torres at the trade deadline if he does not fix it. We have guys like Cabrera sitting down and Burdi will be back! Lamehiue as well that obviously is made out of glass but I mean he can still hit and defend

Yup I call him San Oswaldo lol
Agree
Oh man, heart attack inducing baseball. Judge probably had the most clutch at bat you can have in April.
What a win!
biggest win of the season

Volpe and Cabrera are just so solid, nothing gets past them in the field!
Damn Volpe's last out play was sick!
I love Verdugo’s energy, we needed that. Watch him on third base during judges hit

Was at the game - what a comeback!!
The last few days weren't fun, but in the end it's 3-3 on the road and sometimes you gotta take that.
And against good teams too
Right, well Sudays game they should have won, but, the Blue Jays have exclllent pitching.
@cvonbarron That game 3 against Cleveland is still annoying me a few days later to be honest lol
That ejection was crazy, but a great comeback win
Trevino unsung MVP of the year so far
What a comeback. A great team win for the Yankees Juan Soto started it in the 8th and Judge ended in the 9th with a game winning 2 run single.
they need that come back magic if they're going anywhere this year , good game yanks !
I have a good feeling about this season!!! Hopefully judge comes around which I know he will. #LetsGoYankees
