I am 82 years old. I started learning how to sing February 2019. When I started my high note was D4 with my chest voice. I now go up to A5 and continue to at least D5 with weak mixed. I did not know what I had as a falsetto. I am singing with Dimash Ava Maria. He has much more power than I have up there. I hope with practice I will join him, I hit all the notes with nearly equal control all the way up to F6. My vocal range goes down to B flat 1. I keep improving . I can't sing with him when he jumps from Chest to falsetto etc... Although my The Music of the night (Phantom of the opera) is in my opinion better than the professionals I have listened to since I can jump to a beautiful falsetto even I hope to increase its power. I have uploaded 9 songs onto youtube. I keep improving. My Old Man River has a deeper Bass Baritone and the ending D4 is now completely easily controlled. My My Way is up a note so I go easily to F#4. i get rave reviews every time I sing this. My best quality sound is around C3. I just sang Sunrise,Sunset up and octave from a Soprano (Bebop Boston Ma, open mic) and since my falsetto sounds like Dimash that also got rave reviews.
