I see! It does seem like many small, individually run shops still only accept cash. At the same time, I feel those stores often have unique bargains or great deals you can’t find elsewhere. So, it depends on what we value-convenience or the charm of those local shops! 😊
I'm cashless. I usually use a credit card or payment using a smartphone. I prefer cashless payment because it's quick and easy, and I don't need to carry any coins(^^) I try avoiding shopping at only cash stores as possible. But recently illegal uses of credit cards are increasing, so I'm worried about that and I canceled my disused credit cards.
I’m the same way! I don’t intentionally avoid cash-only stores, but I rarely use cash anymore since most places accept cashless payments. I also have a few credit cards I no longer use, and I keep telling myself I need to cancel them… but somehow, a few years have already gone by without doing it. 😅
That’s a smart approach! By using cash for smaller amounts, you don’t have to carry a lot of money, and even if you lose your wallet, the damage won’t be too big.😮
@ That's exactly right. And since the outbreak of the coronavirus, it seems like cashless payments have increased and diversified in Japan. Sweet dreams 🌝
I mostly use cash. In Kagoshima where I live, there are still many stores that only accept cash.😅

I'm a cashless payment. In Japan, I pay with cash for anything under 1000 yen. 👛
