- The 2021 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS 1LE is a special vehicle and this brief overview can show you some of the neat things that help make this car such an amazing piece. This particular Camaro is equipped with the 6-Speed Tremec Manual Transmission. The car also is equipped with an AWE Axleback Track Exhaust and it's just an absolute blast to drive with this LT1 V8 Engine that puts out 455 HP Stock and 455 LB FT. of Torque.

Ex mustang owner here owned about TEN including a Coyote 🐺 I bought a 2017 2SS 6 speed manual was SHOCKED how much better the Camaro is. I can beat GT350s now. Ran a 12.1 quarter bone stock blowing the tires off. That new 5th LT1 is one BADASS motor. STILL BUYING A SHELBY NEXT!!! Just have to buy the GT500 after owning a newer SS to make sure it can hang.
Just bought a 2022 1LE manual with 3100 miles on it a month ago. Way better than the Mustang GT I had. Sounds great, rides great, pulls like a train if you put the pedal down. Found the car on a Friday night, bought it Saturday afternoon. Knowing how hard they are to find I wasn’t waiting on it. Very glad to see it in my garage now.
I just picked up my 2021 Camaro SS 1LE yesterday, already went through a full tank of gas. I completely agree, amazing machine! Took me 4 months to find a 1LE, super rare.
It took me about 10 months from order to delivery for my 2023 2SS 1LE Camaro. Got in 6sp manual. Only way to go. This is a great car absolutely love it. Have 100 miles on it got PPF, ceramic coating, and window tint at 92 miles. Put on ZL1 add one rock guards, lift points, and tie down connectors under car. I am enjoying it so far can’t wait to drive it more.
I just got my 22 1SS1LE in Satin Steel Metallic with Manual and I drive it in Sport Mode where it sounds the best!

One of the best cars I’ve ever owned. Highly recommend!! The suspension, steering and brakes are top notch. Go test drive one on a curvy road. I had bumble bee 🐝 2017 SS 1LE

I have a 2021 SS 1LE and love it. Have just 300 miles. The six speed is the only way to go. I would never run it until the fuel light comes on... They are the best looking car on the market.

@@BSchoon55 Your fuel pump is cooled by the gasoline in the car. When low on fuel there is no gas to cool the pump and they tend to fail quicker. But of course a few times won’t kill the pump but over time yes
@@eddy3080 if the engine is still running and not sputtering it's fine, the fuel pump sender has adequate cooling from flow...

You won't regret it... especially if you get a manual. That Tremec literally KILLS ANY manual transmission from a Mustang... unless it was a recent GT350 or Mach 1 haha.

Had an 2021 LT1 6mt last year and now have a 2021 Scat Pack 6mt, the Camaro's Tremec is world's better than the Challenger's. Can't believe it's the same manufacturer. Enjoy!

As a long life Camaro/Trans-am owner I really wish GM would have made the Camaro in the 70s 80s IROC Z style.I never liked the 60s style in which the modern ones are based on.

Yup, I was able to get this for $2k under original MSRP. In today's market, that was good for a 2021 MY with only 5k miles on it.
I have a 2019 I would sell you. 2SS 1LE 6700 miles 6 speed manual in Red Hot. But, yes...people are wanting top dollar now

is this your daily driver? And if it is, is the AWE too loud? I have the 2021 manual 2SS and I’m thinking of getting the same AWE exhaust but I’m not sure if it will be too Loud.
It is my daily driver. I definitely bog the car down and run in 3rd to 4th gear in my neighborhood to keep the noise down. I also shift it into N or keep my foot in the gas to keep the car from doing it’s pops at night because it gets super loud. If your careful with that you should be okay.
It’s also really loud on initial start. You just have to be careful with the noise. If you have chill neighbors or drive around mostly in the day time you should be okay.

That's insane, the Mustang GT has the garbage MT 82 and Chevy gives you the BEST manual transmission, and probably costs less than a GT with the Performance Pack.

Agree Alex I’ve been through 3 MT 82 transmissions in my 2019 Mustangs. It’s like a oil change now for the service department at my dealership.
Mustang Performance pack doesn’t come with the Recaros or dual-mode exhaust, those cost more. If you want the Tremec, you have to get the Mach-1. So if you want it all, the Mustang costs *way* more. I like all brands (owned Z06, Focus RS, Charger SRT8), but if you want the performance bargain out there right now it’s the SS 1LE. The 1SS 1LE is the best value, but the 2SS is the better car day to day.
It makes me uncomfortable how close you are to the steering wheel 😭😳😳 ive had my 2020 1le for over a year already and have not had a single problem with it, i got it with 0 miles and i have put over 21,000 miles in one year and 2 months. Shadow gray metallic is an amazing color btw ☺️

Thank you! I believe it just had to do with money and maybe something changing for them during the pandemic. It had nothing to do with the car itself as far as I can tell. The person that had it before clearly loved it and cared for it!
@@BSchoon55 Makes sense. Well, that's great you were able to pick up a basically brand new car at a discount. I just got my 2017 2SS back in February. Only 6k miles on it. I found the previous owner on the camaro6 forum, and he told me only for rid of it because he found a deal on a C7 and traded it in. Made me feel a lot better knowing he didn't trade it in because he hated it or it had issues. Anyway, hope your camaro treats you well. I absolutely love mine so far

I rented one of these on Long Island last year & it was way too scary. Every takeoff i was spinning & the handling was awful. Three arse end was constantly wanting to fishtail. Completely undriveable in city streets. Looks great tho!!

@@BSchoon55 Give it a good look over. All fluids with an eye to anything unusual or suspicious. Like non-factory seals. You usually wont see work having been done on a car with that few miles.

Guys that run rallys with cars like that dont really abuse them, so your probably going to be fine.
Might want to see if a tech can pull a code history from the ecm/OBDII or III or whatever number they're up to.
@@Winkkin Really good advice. I did not get it inspected by an independent mechanic because it has such low mileage and a TON of factory warranty left (assuming it hasn't been touched).
I have a really good Autel Scan tool I have plugged in and everything looked good in there. Car runs great and I put fresh oil in it within an hour of buying the car, all the fluids look good as well.

Working on a video with that soon, just not sure how to present it yet.... it's pretty rough out there. The only way to really do it successfully is coming from a positive equity situation... otherwise, yeah it costs a ton.

Because some would say “ that’s a downgrade because I’d be going backwards “ current have 2021 10 speed 5.0 as my trade in can’t wait man !!!! How was your experience first day with the car ?
@@josepineda9740 Awesome!!! You got any pics of it? Send it over if you do. I would NEVER say going from a 2021 5.0 to a 2019 1LE is a downgrade, ever. A 2019 1LE is going to be faster than any stock 5.0 GT, it's going to stop better, it's going to out handle any GT in any sort of spirited driving, it just does everything better. It also has a more reliable powertrain as well.
The only place a 1LE or any Camaro falls short to me is it just doesn't sound as dramatic going in a straight line as the Coyote, because the Coyote revs out to around 7,500 RPMs and the Camaro is what... 6,500 RPMS or so? Even though the Camaro is faster in a straight line, it just doesn't feel as special as hearing the Coyote wind up.......... BUT the Camaro is better in every performance category, so you have to pick and choose lol. I love going through Canyons and would love track days, so to me this is a far superior car in every category.
My first day with the car was insane because I had to drive it from AZ back to CA, so my first day with it was putting about 500+ miles on it. I got used to it very quickly. The first 10-15 min I was scared because I wasn't that comfortable with the seats or anything, but once I got that straightened out and learned where all 4 corners of the car was, I've been comfortable ever since... I just had to give it a few minutes.
Out of the hundreds of people I have talked to and met, only one person told me it was a downgrade and I don't even know who the hell they were lol...... So yeah, 99.9% of people including me would agree your move is definitely an upgrade.
