+BlueDogGarage Thought so. Every time I look for the kit there it's sold out. I guess I'll just keep my eyes peeled.
Just finished building one...what a hunk of junk! lol I have like 20 hrs in paint and body, had to go make spacers for the rear wheels, buy 2 nuts for the front axles (they are NOT the same size as the rears) and after all said and done, the left wheel hit the body when turned (had to bend axle to clear) and the wheels hit the pedal at full lock. Seriously disappointed with the craftsmanship and overall design of this car. it is more of a show piece than something your kid can ride imo.
I just unboxed my new Comet pedal car. Oh man! This is gonna take a lot of work. The seams are horrible. I'm thinking I should cut the tack welds out, and realign the panels, before I weld up the seams. Several small, but workable dents. You will need a hammer, and dolly set to make the body straight.
this will not be a weekend project if you want it to be right. I plan to build it as a "power wheels" project of "show" quality. If you don't have auto body experience, and the tools required, the final product will be of very poor quality.
