    Hi sir, this GATE DRIVE circuit demo is very important to me and you have deeply explained the working Principle. Coz every day I'm dealing with this G-drive circuit in the invertor type welding machines.90 percent of your g- drive diagram is matching with the original circuit of invertor welding machine. Most of the invertor welding machine includes sg3525, totem pole drive, and the gate driver primary & secondary (4 chanels ) transformer. (If you want i will forward the diagram)

    Video is informative and good but one mistek you transformer winding wrong you are primary and secondary winding wier one side rotation not indicat top and bottom end.

    Can i use bd140 and 1n4148 instead of bd327 and 1n4147? Aur aagar mosfet use karnu toh kaun se diode use karu? Video me sab mosfet ke number Clear nahi hai

    Very nice video and i got a fair idea about how pwm circuit works. In my case i have a corsair 850w pc smps in which most of the diodes ,capacitors and and transistor dudes are installed before the primary(two pin side of transformer). After secondary pins i only have one reverse biased diode and one 4.7 ohm resistor in parallel upto gate pin of the mosfet which is fch104n60f in my case. It is same for other mosfet which is identical. Would you please explain the functioning in this type of circuit. meanwhile the pwm controller ic is cm6901x. You can have the schematic i mentioned on its datasheet.

      Because due to tight coupling.and easy to wind to reverse poly swap secendary wires

    hi, What is the advantage of direct MOSFET driven technique and using transformer, Direct means using any Mosfet driver ICs IRS2110 or similar?

      Yaa. RT means fast rising time (ON Time Like 10ns -100ns) and also faster Fall Time. Hope you understand better

    Bro i think capacitor in series is not needed here as you are using dual output pwm ic so there will be no dc. If you will use single channel pwm ic and connect one pin of transformer to pwm out and another to gnd then you will need capacitor in series to prevent saturation.

      Purane transformer ka core area aur new transfarmer ka core area same honi chahiye core material same hona chahiye .. No of turns agar secendary me jyada hai toh gate per overvoltage ke wajah se bhi problems aa sakti hai .use 18v ZD on Gate to source of MOSFET.
