Just take a moment to appreciate that this dude condensed like half a day of work into 8 mins, comfortably. The edits/info everything was on point. Hats off.
To everyone asking what you do for the last 2 days of the week...my system is I shop and prep on Sundays, and that lasts me til Thursday. After work on Thurs, i swing by the market and grab enough chicken and veggies for Friday and Saturday. I whip up a quick stir fry that gives me about 4-5 servings that last until I do my full blown prep on Sunday. I spend about $70 week total on food
We're LIVE again! thanks to those that caught that glitch in the last video. we should be good to go now. y'all are awesome! thanks for sticking with me!
You make the best healthy recipes ever. My husband had cancer and the only healthy food I could get him to love came from your UA-cam videos and now he's cancer free so thankyou!!! 🙌🏼 I believe the healthier lifestyle helped a lot
Kevin you’re amazing! No wonder you keep getting blessed because you’re helping US! Your videos are saving lives and changing lifestyles! I’m doing this - I’m DOING IT!!!
You are a hero. I saw some other videos who asked to check their website for full recipe. When I clicked, they were asking for money. You are the only one is sharing all the good stuff for free. Keep it up ...
You're honestly curate the healthiest and tastiest recipes out there! Your videos have taught me not to restrict myself too much or else I'll go insane and lose track of my healthy lifestyle. Thank you! :)
This was a lovely video, thank you! I have to mention that you can save a ton of money on beans if you get the dried version and buy it in bulk. Canned beans in water are a rip off compared to the dried beans, which also have a very long shelf life. I once saw dried pinto beans for less than 50 cents a pound and the dried beans plump up at least twice as big after you soak them, so you also save space in your pantry! It takes a bit of extra prep, so if you don't have time to soak overnight, using a slow cooker on high for 2 hours takes them from dried to meal ready.
+Fit Men Cook Question for ya: Where do you get your cartoon shirts at? I saw the Winnie the Pooh one you wore in a different video and I said to myself, "I must have that 😱" lol
Miss you, Kevin. I hope you're doing well. Still finding value and inspiration from this video years later as I prep for my wedding. Please come back 🙏🏾
This is so awesome, thanks Kev! Can you talk about how you would budget for 2 people? Maybe theres a way to cook for two without necessarily doubling everything you buy and spend.
+Kendetta Johnson portion the meals out to each of your likings. So he gets a bigger portion and you get one more adequate for your goals while still maintaining a healthy intake.
oh yeah! whoever posted that Illuminati comment on my last video saying the Illuminati is confirmed because the video is about $75 AND the video length is 7:55 - you're my new best friend! LOLOL
+Thomas Beckers I have found those containers in a few places. First place is Gordons Food Service (GFS). I have also found them at my local COSTCO. Next you can find many versions on Amazon. I have bought the segmented ones from Amazon.
All I can says THANK YOU!!!! By far the hardest thing for me is staying on track with my meals. I got your app and been following it for the last week so far and I love it.
For tortillas, I highly recommend making your own. 2 cups of flour, 3/4 cup of water, 3 TB oil, and a 1/3 tsp of salt = 8 to 10, after you let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
I've seen a lot of meal prep vids in my day but man how did i not come across this! Such great production and editing and not to mention the food actually looks good to eat and not just your classic "gonna put some chicken in the oven and cook some rice and potatoes" Subscribed!
Hey! I cooked that slow cooked chicken for my whole family tonight and they LOVED it. Big hit in my house, I will 100% be making this again. Great Meals.
Excellent video man - can't believe you got all that food for $75. Shredding and marinating that slow-cooked chicken was a nice touch, and those poblanos looked incredible.
YES! Thank you! Finally some examples of yummy meal preping. Not Just plain chx with brown rice. I'm also a chef and eating the same thing everyday gets so old. I will be trying some of your recipes thank you!
From the UK - this is honestly the best meal prep vid i've seen in a while. Converted to freedom units, i'm trying to get from 183 down to 160 (10kg) in time for summer with 28% body fat currently. With this + exercising an hour a day, I really do think it's doable thanks to you. I'll let you know my progress.
Also if you're prepping consider making some of these ingredients from scratch or buying in a larger bulk. The cottage cheese or a cheese similar is really easy to make
You cook food good for 5 days in a single time? Where and how will you store the food to avoid it from spoiling and do you reheat everything? I'm so confused.
Yeah was wondering the same but that is purpose of Meal Prep to not cook every day as most of us can't so you have 3 meals ( breakfast which you can cook ) snacks which you can prepare daily but other 2 meals lunch and dinner you have prepared and you just reheat. if you have a good fridge and you can just reheat the food you can do it for 5 days but some people prepare on Sundays for 3 days and then on Wednesday for 2 days as most people have Wed as their day off.
I made the honey mustard chicken recipe in my pressure cooker on HI and cut the time to under an hour start to finish! Started with frozen chicken breast as well. After 15 minutes pulled the chicken out and shredded it then put it under pressure for another 5.
Abubaker Alzuaree one day could be a cheat day and the other you can buy food. Doesn't have to break your diet. Or you cook it the day of. That's what I normally do Sundays.
Hi, very nice recipe and I had recently prepped this recipe for this week (with minor tweaks)! One thing though, you mentioned for the chicken "cook on high for 3-4 hours". I'm not sure if my pressure cooker is different than yours, but my chicken totally burned within 1 hour of cooking. So I took out the chicken, cut off the burnt parts, and scraped the bottom of the pressure cooker. I then tried again at lower heat, and I added a bit of water (as the chicken became quite dry). It turned out well! So maybe for some people cooking on low may avoid burning your chicken
Yeah i wondered exactly the same. I wouldn't eat chicken or fish that been in the fridge for a week and I wouldn't normally freeze broccoli or potatoes as they dont "thaw" well
This looks to be a great meal prep plan. Looked at the blog recipe and it looks like your caloric calculations are off quite a bit though the exact portion sizes aren't listed so that could be where the discrepancy is. This could easily feed me for a week and for $75 I think that's quite doable. I hunt so I have access to lean red meat (elk and deer) for the stuffed peppers.
I was so impressed with your shopping and cooking skills that I subbed immediately! I'm looking to get back into shape, this time with a slant towards weight lifting, and you're giving me hope that I won't have to subsist on bland foods to stay the course. Awesome vid, and I can't wait to try each dish. So excited!
Just made most of this as meal prep last night. best meal prep video Ive found, thank you for sharing. Being a single mom, having to make time to exercise and eat right, this just made my life soooo much easier! muchas gracias!! (-:
Roryyy Mercury i've lived my entire adult life on around $700/mo and sure i have my share of health problems but i was born with a birth defect that caused pararlysis and none of my problems are related to my nutrition. i know how to eat well. i've done it for years and i'm still here. shit man i don't even get a cold but maybe twice a decade lol. but hey thanks for the ignorant uneducated reply/ :D
There are some things you can do. 1) buy rice in bulk (like 4-5 pound for 20-30$. That will give you a grain staple for like 10 cents per serving. 2) buy bulk meat at SAMs or COSCO where you can get 12+chicken breasts for like 20$ 3) buy frozen veggies. Frozen mix is cheaper and will go in meal prep boxes no prob. These 3 things will help you have healthy staples so your weekly trip becomes about adding/figuring out how to spice it differently. When fruit comes in season it's dirt cheap. I just bought a huge cantaloupe for $1.50! Buying fruit in season puts something fresh in font of you while being responsible with cash.
It's best to get refrigerated and frozen items last to minimize time out of safe temperatutes zone. So, shop for non-perishables first with some self control-you can do it-ready, get set, and go.
Just found your videos.. Wow.. I also just hit Subscribe.... I think I had seen one of your videos once before.. I am not a Man.. But still your food is very tempting..So I am going to follow you...
Looks great and easy! And, I have always wondered where these meal preppers store these meals. Do you guys have 2 fridges? I know my fridge is big but no way can I even store 1 day's meal in it if I were to pre-prep it.
Just found your channel. This meal prep looks tastier than most 'healthy' meal preps that I've seen. And I love that you are encouraging men to be in the kitchen. New sub.
Tus videos son siempre muy originales! Y en verdad que todos los domingos los veo para inspirarme y hacer "meal prep" para toda la semana 👌🏻 gracias por todo lo que enseñas y por las buenas ideas!
If you use gadgets like slow cookers and steamers and opt to bake most of your food like the guy in the vid does, you can prepare your food with little to no effort at all. The appliances are doing all the work for you. The worst of what you'll do is cutting and washing the food, which is easy. It's a fair trade off for the calories/money you save by avoiding restaurants....
Hey is can you please do a meal prep video using a skillet and/or George Forman grill, i do not have a stove/oven, and i hate the way food tastes after a slow cooker. Thanks
I made the fish recipe tonight for a family dinner. I have 2 servings left for the next couple of days! I will try the honey mustard chicken and rice one next. I am loving your content!
Chicken $5.35, with the card?.....I find that really high, I can buy boneless chicken breast here in Florida at the Save a Lot, for $2.29 LB, with NO card, when it comes a sale, I can get it as little as $1.50 LB!
+Elisha Ondov I spend about 60-70 a week, but sure beats eating out lunch at work everyday which is what I did previously. I was spending between $35-60 for just lunches at work. Think about that... I was sometimes spending $250/month just for work lunches.
He made 25 meals with $75. That's $3 a meal or $15 per day. You can't even order a combo meal at McDonald's with that money. $15 is going out to Chili's or TGI Friday for one meal.
I am not even a meat eater, but I loved how easy and delish they all were! would love if you could tell me vegetarian alternative for beef in stuffed poblanos...
You gave a great tip about shopping in the exterior first by getting your fruits/veggies and meats. I never thought of or saw it that way! Thanks for the perspective!
If spends 75 dollars in 5 days, he would probably spend almost $500 in a month. Yes, that is a lot for some people........ He only buying for person. How much money do you spend on food?
He eats 5 meals a day. The average person doesnt. If youre into fitness youre spending your grocery budget on meal prep and NOT eating out. It comes out cheaper in the end. My girlfriend and I would go out for every meal, easy 30 bucks each time. lets say 2 meals a day , $30 (on average)x2 =60 x 12 days of eating out a month = $720. Comparatively, doing what this guy is doing im saving 2-300 dollars per month and feeling better physically too. Obviously, if you're strapped for cash you can make your own twists on what you buy, but its always gonna be cheaper to buy cook your meals for the week than it is otherwise. $75 dollars for 25 meals for the week at 5 meals/day comes out to $3 dollars per meal. If you only eat 3 meals per day, that come out to $281.25 / month. You cant ask for better than that, come on. At least here in the US. @@Michelle-pn9xt
If you're on a budget you can never go wrong with eggs, noodles, and rice. You can also buy lettuce for cheap and just hard boil some eggs and then throw them into the salad with some dressing. He's going more extravagant because when you eat healthy every single day for years on end you need variety to keep you from getting bored. Also protein shakes can work as meal replacements. I get a 5 pound tub of whey protein for $40 and that lasts me all month
Here in the netherlands thats a lot of fucking money. 75 bucks for 5 days of eating for 1 person. Thats just crazy! I spend 75 bucks a week for 4 people.
It obviously would be less for you then. I dont understand the issue everyone is having. Dude lives in an area of the U.S. that obviously isnt going to be the same for people watching from some other geographic location. @@paulhofman3032
jestes7 sorry i didnt reply i live in london and shop mainly in tesco OATS, FROZEN MIXED VEG, PITTA BREADS OR TESCO TORTILLA WRAPS, CHICKPEAS (4 TINS FOR £1) THATS LITERALLY 16 TINS FOR 4 POUNDS STERLING LOL ALSO RICE IN BULK OF COURSE BIG BAG OF BROWN LENTILS (LESS THAN 4 POUNDS STERLING AND SHOULD LAST A MONTH IF YOU ARENT A GLUTTON) WITH THE REST OF THE MONEY (AND TO MAKE FOODS MORE PALATABLE AND VARIED BUY BIG PACKETS OF GARLIC, CURRY, BIG TUB OF WHOLE EARTH OR MERIDIAN PEANUT BUTTER AND RAISINS I HOPE THIS HELPS. ITS WAY MORE SATISFYING SATIATING THAN IT SOUNDS AND ADMITTELY QUITE AUSTERE ITS NOT NECESSARY BUT I EAT ONCE A DAY BUT THAT DOESNT MAKE IT MUCH CHEAPER HONESTLY I COULD SPEND EVEN LESS TBH
Thanks for the reply! That's all good and dandy, but I don't see any proteins on your list. But hey, if that diet works for ya and you're saving money more power to you. But as a body builder that would never work for me haha
Nice looking meal prep. I enjoy cooking myself and may give your recipes a try. Thanks for the video, this is something I need to start doing myself to help save some $$ and always have healthy meals on the ready.
You can get lean sirloin cheaper than the 80\20 ground bison and it is leaner, or you can get ground beef of the same fat content as the bison for about half the cost.
+fit men cook Please can you do a new one of these videos, absolutely love your videos! Would you be able to do some variations on chicken, rice and veg, but... with a different sauce for each meal? I find a lot of these meals can be a bit dry
My house smells like a restaurant right now. I'm cooking for two right now and this is going to last us till next Sunday. Sunday is my cook day. I'm copying all your recipes for my Weight loss journey. Plus the cool thing is I already have most of the seasonings you use. Thank you and my husband is loving it😊
Love you videos, tips, tricks & hacks. Where do you get those black containers with the clear lids? Can you put them in the freezer or would there be freezer burns?I downloaded your android app tonight. Looking forward to the book. Keep up the good work.
excellent! i'll be doing this tomorrow...I just subscribed, so i'm new here but will be watching your videos throughout the day for other healthy meals i can use w my workout regimen. thanks alot!

Dylan Giallella bruh its so hard to find a decent fucking video on meal preps n how to eat healthy

What store or brand are those food containers from ? Can I put them in the freezer also ? or do you put 20 meals in the fridge ? Thx
+Thomas Beckers I have found those containers in a few places. First place is Gordons Food Service (GFS). I have also found them at my local COSTCO. Next you can find many versions on Amazon. I have bought the segmented ones from Amazon.

this is the best healthy meal prep video ever so simple and so much flavor can't wait to try!

That would be great indeed!!
I've tried 4 of his meals not featured in this video. 3 of the 4 were great. He makes everything so easy.
4:42 song name ?!
Same. I hear this song many times from other youtube videos, but they also don't know lol

Would you consider doing another of these or even a series? Lots of good info.
that same bison is $10 around my way
I made the fish recipe tonight for a family dinner. I have 2 servings left for the next couple of days! I will try the honey mustard chicken and rice one next. I am loving your content!
SONG ?????????????
Great video. Just found your channel, so now I'm bing watching everything. Would you let me know how I can find a t-shirt like that.
Chicken $5.35, with the card?.....I find that really high, I can buy boneless chicken breast here in Florida at the Save a Lot, for $2.29 LB, with NO card, when it comes a sale, I can get it as little as $1.50 LB!
MoanikaLewinsky I wish.. I can usually get 2 chicken breast for about $10- $14
MoanikaLewinsky food prices are clearly much higher where he lives.
Costco is about 3$/lb, 5$ seems like publix prices or something
Uh... yeah, that Save a Lot is a bit sketchy. Horsemeat is cheap, too
And you're buying at save a lot.. big difference there
$450 per month?!
+Elisha Ondov you mean 300?
+Joshua Lefor There are 6 sets of 5 days in each month. Meaning 6 sets of this $75 haul. Giving you $450 per month.
$15 is going out to Chili's or TGI Friday for one meal.
wut? 6 weeks in a month? Are you from Mars?
I am not even a meat eater, but I loved how easy and delish they all were! would love if you could tell me vegetarian alternative for beef in stuffed poblanos...
I assume we starve ourselves on the last two days? lol J/K
Haha!! Yeah man, big man also need to fast!
You gave a great tip about shopping in the exterior first by getting your fruits/veggies and meats. I never thought of or saw it that way! Thanks for the perspective!
who here lives in a country where 75$ is a lot of money

I'm making this prep for the second time now... so amazingly good! The breakfast wrap is my favorite.
i could feed my self for £75 for two months
how?
+neal captain Plain rice with veggies
And simple sugar with water
lol you could feed yourself for less than that I'm sure, but definitely not quality food
jestes7 sorry i didnt reply
i live in london and shop mainly in tesco
OATS, FROZEN MIXED VEG, PITTA BREADS OR TESCO TORTILLA WRAPS, CHICKPEAS (4 TINS FOR £1) THATS LITERALLY 16 TINS FOR 4 POUNDS STERLING LOL
ALSO RICE IN BULK OF COURSE
BIG BAG OF BROWN LENTILS (LESS THAN 4 POUNDS STERLING AND SHOULD LAST A MONTH IF YOU ARENT A GLUTTON)
WITH THE REST OF THE MONEY (AND TO MAKE FOODS MORE PALATABLE AND VARIED
BUY BIG PACKETS OF GARLIC, CURRY, BIG TUB OF WHOLE EARTH OR MERIDIAN PEANUT BUTTER AND RAISINS
I HOPE THIS HELPS. ITS WAY MORE SATISFYING SATIATING THAN IT SOUNDS AND ADMITTELY QUITE AUSTERE
ITS NOT NECESSARY BUT I EAT ONCE A DAY BUT THAT DOESNT MAKE IT MUCH CHEAPER HONESTLY
I COULD SPEND EVEN LESS TBH
Thanks for the reply! That's all good and dandy, but I don't see any proteins on your list. But hey, if that diet works for ya and you're saving money more power to you. But as a body builder that would never work for me haha
Nice looking meal prep. I enjoy cooking myself and may give your recipes a try. Thanks for the video, this is something I need to start doing myself to help save some $$ and always have healthy meals on the ready.
that's about 200$ in nyc
lmaooooo! word
I don't mean any disrespect but hell naw to the naw naw naw 😂😁
Travel east into the long island towns! Trust me!! much cheaper at the walmart's there.
Yeah I use to work in the meat department, in South jersey... bison cost about $16 🤔🤔
but he might of only brought one pack ... we sold them in 2's & I think they were 16oz.
What's bison like? def something I haven't tried, sounds good though
Love the video! How do you adjust the quantity for women? That is a lot of food. I'm sticking to a 1500 calorie a day intake.
