I'm getting into historical miniature wargaming and picked this book up. Looking forward to getting a game on the table. Thank you for your in depth review! Subbed! Take Care.
Good walk through and I agree with your view of the rules. I play them and enjoy them as they are easy to learn and give a good game in a couple of hours which is ideal for an evening game down the club. 👍
Hi Martin. I must admit they are not mine either although I have played Saga SP2 etc etc. These are very interesting and inspiring me also. AWI funnily enough. I have some previous painted 15mm Americans and have some Hessians coming shortly. Good luck with the project!
Thanks for this great little review! I'm a big fan of the Rampant games, having come from the fantasy scene and Dragon Rampant, so am really interested to try this. Just one question (and apologies if I missed this in the video) - is there anything stopping you from using these rules for other theatres in other parts of the world, say the Indian Mutiny or Schleswig War? Cheers!
Hi Sam , glad you enjoyed the video :) absolutely, thisngame hasotential to cover many arenas with a little tweaking...there are already lists covering a multitude of periods in the book

@wargameshobby thanks for watching and your comments. Agreed a solid set of rules and a fun game.
Not usually a huge fan of lower scale games, but this could be a good way in for my long thought of (but not yet done) AWI project.

@@prasutagustheorwellwargamer Like the sound of a few Hessians- I may kick off with those.
Most excellent as always
Thanks Charles, hope you are well
