Thanks for the ride. We took our kids to Busch Gardens when this ride was only a few
years old. That particular day, the kids and their father went and got in line. Just as they got to the loading area, the car that just left, got stuck on the first upward climb. They
hung up there for roughly 30 -40 minutes. All were safe and were given water bottles, when they got down. The family had to be turned away, for that day... I'm perfectly fine riding this coaster in my living room!
I have seen it stop on the lift as well. It's usually because someone took something on the ride they weren't supposed to. Either that or a safety system stopped the ride to be checked. Basically, the ride system was doing what it is supposed to do if there is any sort of issue. It's a really complex system that is incredibly well thought out. Maybe someday you will get another chance to ride. The park just announced a brand new indoor "straddle coaster" for families, to open next year. DarkKoaster!

I have been wanting to record a POV of this ride for many years now. I am glad the weather was perfect.
This is one of my favorite roller coasters. A smooth ride and thrilling. Doesn't have any of the aspects I typically don't like about roller coasters.
Yh like the head banging! Some rides are really ruff! 🤯
Griffon has no head banging. It's one of the smoothest coasters I have ever ridden. Great ride!

Are you referring to one of my older Griffon videos? Unless something is wrong with YT (don't get me started), this video shouldn't be playing in reverse. Ha ha.
@@SeanFlaharty I think you'd posted a video of reversed Griffon footage where it appeared to be running backwards, so I was pretending this video was backwards and that other one was correct 🤔

Thanks! To be honest, I don’t have anything really planned out. I don’t do the live streams anymore and I decided to stop vlogging. Maybe I will remaster some of the older videos in 60fps that aren’t already. I don’t have any park plans for the rest of the year so I won’t have any new footage. I did record a few more POVs at Busch but I probably won’t upload those for a few months. Time is not my friend this year. Lol.

The track color looks so new
The coaster was repainted this season. I believe it had opened just reopened a few days prior to when I recorded this video.

Sean, out of curiosity, do you have any plans to go back to Europe after over a decade of not doing so?
I was supposed to be on a tour of Europe with a couple other people, as I type this up, but I had to cancel for a few different reasons. I am sure I will make it over there within the next decade. I can't believe it's been twenty years this month since I first went overseas to ride coasters.

How scary is this when they have yu hanging do yu feel like your fall out at all?
You do dangle and are pressed against the restraints while at the top of the big drop, especially in the front. It feel very comfortable. At least to me it does.

Yeah I have heard that UA-cam is kinda wonky anymore. Glad everything got straightened out. I've had Covid for the past six days so stuck home but almost out of the woods hopefully!
@@mimiv548 Oh no. That sucks. I hope you get better soon. I have had it twice now and hope I am done with it. Four shots now also. From my friends that have gotten it within the last six months, they don't seem to have any long Covid symptoms so that is promising. Most everyone I know that had gotten it prior to the vaccines being available still deal with long symptoms every once in a while. I don't have moments as frequent as I used to so hopefully that is a good sign.
@@SeanFlaharty Yeah my daughter has had it twice now too, she has had 3 shots and she's a nurse. This is only my first time getting it and I hope I never ever get it again. I'm getting my fourth shot as soon as I'm able to, I think they say you have wait 3 months after having Covid or something like that? This pandemic crap is definitely getting old! Hope you don't catch it anymore times and stay healthy!
