Thanks for the video, I just bought my V-Strom 650. I'm getting ready to take a long trip touring through Mexico and take videos of my trip. So I'm trying to find out what gear I'm going to use and this video was quite helpful! Thanks

Hi Dave, thank you so much for your kind words. Means allot to me. I will be visiting London and Scotland in July and plan to ride for a day or 2 and and explore. Thank you again for your support 🙂
Thanks man, this was a very detailed video on storage. I was unable to open the easyr links? Also, wondering if the paniers impact on aerodynamics and therefore fuel economy?
Thanks for your comment. I have fixed the links. Should work now. No the pannier no not impact the aerodynamic or fuel economy in my opinion. They are well designed 😀
Hi great review thank you ! Are the pannier side racks specifically a Shad brand, or generic racks to a universal standard, to which the Shad side cases clip ?
@@AdvExOz Thanks you Sir. I'll be examining which size of side cases are best on my 2008 V-Strom 650, the SH23 or SH36. Very different designs in how they open. I plan to regionally or coast to coast Tour in the USA & maybe moto camp. Any thoughts ? TY David in Texas
@@psalm2forliberty577 I think it will work well for anything really and they are cheap too, so even if they break, they are cheap to replace. Pls do sub to the channel. I sold my vstrom and just received delivery of my new Bike, so videos will be up soon
what seat do you have? look really well made/comfy......i had alloy cases on my BMW R1200GS Adventure they weigh a ton and even in dry weather items get damp inside due to condensation on the cold alloy.....plastic cases are much better and i am getting a set of the Shad's for my V Strom they look great
That's excellent, I am a big fan for plastic or soft panniers. Lighter and cheaper to replace. I have the mjm custom seat. He is based in Goulburn, NSW Australia and makes custom seats for all bike. Just search mjm seats in Goulburn. Rode safe!

Thanks really good to know. I am glad you found it helpful!
Thank you for the support to the channel 😊
Nice. I like those side cases, and I love their price vs the expensive aluminum boxes. You’ve sold me on them. Thanks!
Excellent, glad it helped 🙂
Just put the Shad 34 top box and Shad 23 panniers on my 2012 vstrom 650 last week. So far so good.
Excellent, that good to know.. I am sure you will be happy 😊
The top box is a 34L monolock system which will hold a maximum of 3 kgs no more. P.s love the Auld lang syne thats playing in the background.
Hey, thanks for pointing that out! I guess the top box is perfect for carrying your snacks and a few essentials.
Thanks for sharing- I'm thinking about the SH23 for my commuting needs. Your video helps a lot!

Look nice, considering these for my V strom .Can you filter traffic ok ?
Yeah it's easy. It's as wide as the handlebars so it's relatively safe and easy.
@@AdvExOz Thankyou for the quick reply. That's it i'm gonna order today.

Mate, any suggestions on soft or semi rigid panniers?
