If I could give you 2 thumbs up I would. This is a spectacular piece of patterning and sewing. I learn more and more each time I watch you sew. Thank you 👍 👍
Such a beautiful dress! But then again, all your creations are spot on! Thank you for sharing. I always gain courage to try sewing a garment after watching one of your videos. You make it seem so easy. I know part of it is having the basic blocks already established, which is what I’m working on - thanks, in part, to your videos. Again, thank you sooo much for sharing. Looking forward to more future videos 💕👍🏻
Wow - your skills at pattern drafting continue to impress me!! Really enjoyed watching your make and it looks great on you. Hope you were able to enjoy at least a couple of occasions to take it out for a spin over the holidays. Have a great week!
Oh my goodness, this is gorgeous! Congratulations on a job well done. I wonder how you figured out the patterning of the ruffle and waist piece.... However you figured it out, it’s wonderful. You are an inspiration for sure.
Great video, beautiful dress! You make me try more in sewing, make an effort to sew clothes of the best quality I can and create interesting details. Thank you 🧡💛💚
Thank you for this Susanne. I’m pretty new to dressmaking (having mainly quilted in the past). You make it all seem much less daunting. Sending love from Edinburgh🏴
THX sew much, enjoyed this video, would love seeing how to fit a pattern to your measurments Ive sewed more of Fancy window treatments than sewing clothing love to learn more, thx again
Wow my favourite colour 🥳what a fabulous make it’s beautiful suits you perfectly 👍 however do you get so much patternwork and sewing done in a week 🤔🥳🥳
You are an excellent seamstress. One question did you have to tweak your original pattern draft in order to achieve optimum fit? Your dresses for so well. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful! I’m really interested in learning how to draft a pattern/block to create the "sun ray" of pleats (but not all the way up the dress. Is there a link to show me how to work that out (please)
Can you explain the 1cm seam allowance? My patterns call for 5/8th seam allowance. Are these Measurements exclusive to your patterns? I’ve sewn patterns at 3/8th without any issues just to get a better/bigger fit is this something that can be done? I don’t know the metric system how close is 1 cm to 3/8ths?
Love the channel, so many beautiful makes, so inspirational. I do wish you'd move the title to the top, so it doesn't cover up the top of your top. I often have to find the remote and pause it to see the details. Just a polite suggestion.
Gorgeous, is this for next year's holiday season or just something to wear around the house? Is your area without restrictions? I'm not on IG so couldn't see your inspiration piece is there anyway that you could show those of us not on instagram a picture or something? Would be much appreciated.
