- Video obtained by FOX 4 shows the woman waiting to cross when a man attacks her with an object seemingly out of nowhere. She immediately fell to the ground. He walked off as if nothing happened.

How is this not a bigger story? That poor woman probably has a fracture skull. Maybe brain damage. She might be dead by now. Police won't release any details of her condition. Are they afraid it might hurt Downtown's reputation? The news reports it like it's an everyday occurrence. This is disgusting.

This happens for two reasons. One is no consequences if the person is caught and two, people like those 3 who walked up and saw it happen, just walking away! They act just like people in Baltimore. I had to work there in the 70's and saw attacks and such and everyone told me, "Don't get involved!" Sorry, but I wasn't raised that way in rural Texas. But, it appears that people around downtown Dallas were!

They might not be able to fight, due to health or age or lack of skill. It was a very dangerous situation. My bigger concern would be if she is okay and give her first aid and call for help.
