Once, i crashed into the sun, but 3 minutes before i got onto the surface i was attacked by the deep space cthulhu, it tore my ship into oblivion right after i got onto the surface, then two seconds later, I lost the universe and then a few seconds after, my KSP crashed.
By the way, my version is 0.24.565. and I still think 64-bit is sort of a bad idea, because it didn't fix the deep space cthulhu bug. But it does mean better dual core support.
Congratulations man. Your videos are absolutely awesome and I wouldn't be surprised to see you reach much greater numbers in the not so distant future.
Who knows, maybe with KSP getting extremely popular since its debut on Steam; your channel will get tons more traffic? You definitely deserve it, your videos are hilarious.
Hey Danny, something I found out in my many runs of this mission (I was the guy that found this first. KSP unmodded 20 million meters per second). When you escape Kerbin's orbit, you should still burn prograde. That burn, plus the burn you need to hit 0 m/s at the higher apoapsis is less then the burn you need to drop as soon as you leave kerbin orbit. Also, you fall into Kerbol faster from the higher altitude anyway. It just takes time to get there.
I saw his video like 45 minutes ago, then I see "messing around part 7" and I'm like "NO WAY" and yeah, so I've been here sense 10k too, and I thought the same thing
You know I tried this myself and my results were much different. When I hit the center of the sun my ship shot out of the center at a high velocity (at 1193229.8m/s) and was sent straight out of the kerbal system. The ship got up to 6,469,997,382,446m before coming to a complete stop and even at this point the ship is still intact except for the rocket engine that broke off when it hit the center. the ship cant pitch but it can roll or yaw without the kraken interfering at all. DEEP SPACE MAN.
There's no need for a genius to figure this out, danny went to 50 million times the speed of krakenspeed, so thats why his case of the kraken was a nasty one.
Kerbol: Don't do it! I'm not even present! Danny: Who cares? *sends a kerbal straight into kerbol and he ends up going 49234549032880398534502348085 m/s away from the entire system*
Ahw. Please do one for 25k as well. The percentage increase between 10k and 50k is very high! 10k, 25k, 50k, 100k, 200k, 300k, 400k, 500k. Do that! :D Excited to see your 500k subscriber special. It's just a matter of time, with how hilarious these videos are.
If I were to guess what had happened, I would say that the craft was orbiting the very tiny center of gravity that was the star in KSP before later version where you just died. I guess the craft was falling faster to the star, rotating faster and faster until it made it to the center, and then the parts wanted to be in the same place, and instead of exploding, the physics puked up yesterdays chili.
How much thrust did your self constructed part have? I couldn't manage to get it beyond 1100 because otherwise it fell of because of structural integrity faliure although my rim falloff and impact tolerance were somewhere at 1x10E10.
Dammit, Danny: look what your ill-conceived time travel shenanigans have done! The world has been sent back over 6 months! This is coming right out of your paycheck, mister.
+Pleb King You know how far just a single Yottameter is, right? In our universe, if you were to travel to that distance...you would be just outside of the Virgo Supercluster, which is somewhere around 1 or 2 billion lightyears in distance. 999,999 Ym would be a distance beyond the observable universe.
I did this as well to find out for myself. Used same cheat because I was lazy, but it was too overpowered and it tore itself apart in early testing. Then of course I warped into the red thing and then the enormous gravity tore my engine to shreds (again!).
Only Danny could reach 1.34% the speed of light by diving straight into the sun.
HE MADE IT PAST THE SPEED OF LIGHT (around 300,000 ms)
speed of light is km/s not m/s.
It’s 13.33333… %
Dannys has gone way faster than the speed of light xd
@@bengehre4405 300,000,000 metres a second
Nope, I don't want to make specials that often.
Next two are 50k and 100k specials (that is, if I'll ever get there).
Danny: Those were the days. 3:10
Me: This was made during the good old days.
It really was
Ah, yes, the days where Minmus and the other planets DIDN’T EXIST!
That's the first time the old MK3 cockpit did something right XD

In computer terms, you’d be right. Well, as right as you can be with that question.

"So we must fly into the centre. AND stuff will happen"!
Damn those kerbals sure know how to party, turning the entire planet in to a giant rave party.

Ridiculous distance. Navball's freaking out. Instruments are not working. Kraken's in full force.
But Jeb IS STILL HAPPY.
Congratz on 10,000 subscribers, your KSP videos ARE the funniest in my opinion, and let us hope you make many more Danny!
Congratulations man. Your videos are absolutely awesome and I wouldn't be surprised to see you reach much greater numbers in the not so distant future.

I've been a subscriber to you for quite a while and I would like to congratulate you on getting this far! Can't wait until you hit the next big mark!
You are one of my favourite you tubers. For the sake of my sanity keep up your awesomeness!
Danny, how could you doubt yourself?! Look at how fast your channel has grown in just the past 3 months!
Man, I remember when this channel had only 10k subs.
Now it has almost 14 times that.
Amazing how time flies by.

I'm a fan of you, by the way. I first watched your 0.14 video, back when it was new.
Only 30 000 subs left Before the 100k now...
+1 sub. :D
I have done this legit (before purchasing full version), but I didn't know that it caused all of that! Congrats on 10000.
The sun was just an image looking at you and with gravitational force
And Jed is smiling the whole way...... gotta love the kerbals.

Danny, your "gamebreaking" content is marveuluos!
You sir have fed the Kracken in all stages of life, from childhood all the way to adulthood, I think you deserve a medal!
i think kurk gave you most of your popularity, congrats!
Love Back to the Future and its refrence in the vid! :D
Danny you just got yourself 10,001 subs :D epic vids bro!
Special guest - the kraken xD hahaha love your videos man :D
Because of caculation of the sun orbit, you reach the core and it somewhat has trouble with the caculating, making a insane distance.
The reason the game graphics glitch is due to alot of floating point errors, the KSP Deep space is procedurally generated emptyness.
BELEIVE IN YOURSELF!!! And make six more 25 things to do with your Kerbals and you easily make 1,000,000
nice ... congratulations for 10 k subscribers ^^
This is why we do not even try to approach the speed of light. Bad things happen. Like the mixing of vanilla and chocolate ice cream.

I had no idea terameters were possible on the altitude scale. Nice!
+Dennis W yotameters are possible.
+Dennis W yotameters are possible.
I wonder if anyone has actually reached 999999 Yottameters in KSP. Might take a lot of time though
And some thrust modifications :P

I've also dome some testing and it results that the alt scale gets to yotta, before repeating (m, km, etc)
Thank you danny!!!!
i sware, if i keep watching these, i might die from loss of breath... BECAUSE I AM LAUGHING TOO MUCH XD!!!! and its hard to stop watching

I first played KSP on 0.13, it changed so much now :')
That was beautiful.

best one yet man!!
god i miss the 13.3 Adv SAS, it acturally seemed to work, unlike the current one. and the fact that you could steer the ship in space with winglets.
how long does it take to do one of your messing around in ksp videos
im subscribing to his channel...this is way too much epic :D
Danny, I love your videos. Quick question. Was it my video that showed you this? If so, knowing that you watch my videos too will make my life.
well, at the communication centre, apparently he was laughing his head off....
Here comes the Sun, na nanana~
can't wait til he hits 20k!!!!!!!
I play 0.13.3 regularly because I gave it to my friends
