  • Bruce Springsteen's daughter is an Olympic medalist! Jessica Springsteen took home silver with the U.S. Equestrian team at the Tokyo Games over the weekend. The trio was tied for gold with Sweden before falling short by just 1.3 seconds in a dramatic jump off. Springsteen didn't qualify for individual finals in Tokyo butt she was feeling confident ahead of competing in the team event, telling reporters on Friday that she was thrilled with the way her horse was performing.

Yep! She earned it bc her dad is very wealthy. All of those years of private riding lessons and equestrian training on the finest horses money can buy did pay off. You may not be able to buy your way onto an Olympic team, but you can sure level the playing field with your access to the best! I used to do show jumping, loved it. I had a non pedigree horse ,actually was being used as a roping horse when I got her. So we trained alone and started going to horse shows. We did really well. People told my parents, I was really good and needed a more suitable mount. They spent every penny they could afford on a new horse for me. I continued to train and do well . Then they started divorce proceedings and there was not enough money to continue my absolute love, and potential career. Yes money makes a difference in this sport. Having a nice and proper horse is currently upwards of 40,000.
dollars . I never had a trainer or coach. You can only get so far without a whole lot of $$$ in this sport. Money can give you a head start and a great horse and trainer. You still have to have guts and be a really good rider to get to this level.
So yes ,she had all the backing one could ever want, but she still put in the time and effort to do it. So congratulations Jessica on all your years of hardwork. Did anyone notice where she is in the world standings ?

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation’’ - Mark 16:15
We are instructed by Jesus to spread His Word wherever we go, to as many people as we can. Jesus didn’t say to preach the Gospel only when it’s relevant or convenient. It’s always relevant. Besides, what kind of person doesn’t want to hear the Good News??
If you didn’t like seeing Brea Regan’s comment - then you’re battle/issue is with God and Jesus. I suggest you take it up with Them.
I want you to know something before I go: You don’t know me - you might not even care about me. That’s fine. But just because you may not like me or what I say - don’t reject Jesus because of it. Know that Christ died for you and took the punishment of your sins so you wouldn’t have to. I implore you to repent and turn towards Jesus. I care about you & I don’t want to see you regret your decision on judgment day. Remember that He loves you & that you are never too far gone.
