Nice build! I have a few of these on my backlog( 1/48 and 1/72 scales ). It's good to know about how fragile these pieces can be. I was a fan of the original show. I'm currently building the Macross Valkyrie and Gerwalk 1/72 scale models from Hasegawa.
The plastic does get brittle over time, but it seems to vary. The transformable kits are a real pain - the leg joints in particular are problematic, even on the non-transformable kits. The only thing that puts me off with the transformable kits is that they sacrifice aesthetics over function. It's all out of proportion, and on the AFC-01 it makes it look.... ugly. Mind you, the Genesis Climber (aka Cyclone) transforming kits are amazing (albeit fiddly and also prone to breaking if not careful) - I'm in the middle of my second build. Nice work on the AFC-01H!
I don’t do commission builds anymore. But when I did, I never charged enough, so I’d be lucky if I made $5 / hr. Thanks for watching and commenting though.

The guy I was building this for sent them to me. I really don’t know where they come from.
