In todays world, these two would have lived a spectacular life full of love, passion and accomplishment. Just think how many generations of women lovers were thwarted from living fully, authentically. I could not watch this entire movie, like i could not watch Broke Back Mtn, The Color Purple... Unbearably sad to me. I am so grateful for being alive now and so very sad for the lost love and potential , born out of bigotry and ignorance in times past.
