I'm a festool fan boy, and I have the last gen csx and was looking forward to getting the new gen but I heard it has a real high pitch whine to it. That's a real drawback for a tool I love for it's comfort factor. Think Im going to pick up another last gen while they're still available. I do love the bit garage on my cx18 though.
It does have a high pitch sound to it at 75% throttle, I still love the older cxs drill but I think the compatibility of the battery with the standard charger is worth the upgrade
