Empowering women and girls can help everything and everyone.
women are primary farmers........but there's still more men in the agriculture labor force and they produce almost double the amount of food then women, but we're still primary farmers
although she's telling the truth why is everyone(I mean, men) so mad about this?? haha I guess you guys are living different centuries than ours. Its 21century everyone! but misoginy still exist. period. I perfectly agree with her opinion. good speech. I wanna give her all of my support.
The basic undertone is, it's men's fault. Imagine if they did a talk about how too many men die in war, workplace accidents, suicides, and hint that women need to do more.
I am in this for the human race not gender supremacy.
She didn’t accuse men of anything I think you guys are just assuming that
@@claytonwatkins2084 Sensitive much?
Love this video. Love Project Drawdown!!
I agree men fart a lot...green house gases...that is why
i like to think cows and chickens are to blame for the warming
Felix, who do you think created more methane, cows and chickens or dinosaurs roaming the planet from pole to pole ?
@@ricktd6891 Cows and chickens. I don't think you realize how many we've created, most of the land biomass of the earth is farmed animals. Also, dinosaurs didn't produce methane from their stomachs, nor did they required industrial processes to produce them, or the destruction of forests to raise crops to feed them.
@@NoamMohr Dinosaurs produced ( an estimated ) 5 to 10 times as much methane as all out farm animals today. As for your fear of deforestation, more CO2 is the best solution. You seem to be pretty brainwashed on this subject. Which lie that you believe would you like me to debunk next ? Antarctica melting lie ? Greenland melting lie ? Polar bears going extinct lie ? Sea level speeding up lie ? CO2 is a powerful greenhouse gas lie ? Methane is something we have to worry about lie ? ( measured in parts per billion and honest scientists laugh when alarmists mention it ) Reducing man's CO2 will make a difference lie ? ( we're less than 3 % of all CO2, so what will we do to reduce the other 97 + % of all natural CO2 emissions ? Kill all life on Earth ? Stop volcanoes from erupting ? Get rid of all the water on the planet ? You haven't really thought this thing through using logic, have you ?
Who clicked just to dislike and leave
The fact that people insist on being ignorant towards the need for gender equality in these comments is pretty pathetic and disheartening.
Yes we should get rid of all the laws that favor one gender over another, or race over another. Like parental rights, allimony, affimative action, oh and scholarships.....
Literally the most biased people I meet are woman. So please don't say that we need equality when it's clearly woman's fault that its this big of an issue
@@peso-uv9on that's bullshit. go read some books.
Good job democrats, you have somehow allowed Lisa Simpson to go up on stage and complain
Could The world be getting warmer because of solar flares ? Is it that we’ve reached a point in circling the sun that we are very close to it ??
The work of Nikola Tesla needs to be continued if we want to save our species
Support IUDs
that heading.. is this a TED topic? who is interested in this? (nothing against women in any form)
great motivating speech.hats off to her.
An excellent talk, I hope more people watch it and take away from it an understanding that this is just one part of the solution. I have some hope for our future, but sometimes I think it's a lost cause. She gives me hope.
Make it make sense please
The US C02 emissions per capita is 10x higher than India's. While the goals the presenter is speaking of are good; If you live in a developed country, just not having children would have an impact far greater than any of this.
Are all the dislikes from logically consistent Pro-Lifers?
This lady was raised on the cool aide 😅
it`s -15C outside now, please do not turn off warming, it will be - 25C without it I am afraid
*I am not young enough to know everything. ₩*
Agreed. The more you know the more you realise you don't know.
Ignorance is bliss.
@@claytonwatkins2084 Really ? Because the ignorant people think we're destroying the planet with life giving CO2.
how has... what even is this video?
Thnxs u mam .
Too many talk. Just simple says reduce population. Period.
Her speech couldn't be more condescending
I know, right?
Education + reliable, cheap energy is the key. Clean burning of fossil fuels in developing countries will help solve this, not windmills.
Unknown Woman speaking somewhere --... ( since I cannot prove that empowering women is good and something that is needed I'll try to connect it with something that is a problem to everybody so that when they look at that thing "I.e climate change" they'll consider what I said.)
You: (give me the best answer that you can give😉)
Mine is :WTF
Why not start,...with the stopping of chem-trails...?
thanks💙❤
Did you know that 62% of UA-cam users are male?
Circe for real?
That’s a very nice statistic, it just shows that maybe you should start a UA-cam channel
Hi Lord of the Rings Actress🙋
Wanna hear a joke, go to 20 sec
Cliches after cliches after cliche. Yawn.
I can listen to TED Talks all day 🙌🏼
see @Tetrahedron
and who should build your ideas?
women or men, I think I know the answer !!!!!!!!!!
nice fake tears at the end. good touch katharine.
I liked this until she did the snarky jokes.
Rightly Said.........................
More schools more energy needed more “global warming”!!!!! Crazy self defeating!
Oh my fucking god! TED is just about women and how they are oppressed.
She's advocating going to school so you have kids later so you don't have as many kids? Wtf. This lady. Nice try. But huge fail.
Why only women?? That's a wrong statement to even start with...
You want be prepared for global warming ? I suggest you buy a really good full length hooded overcoat and an equally good set of wool lined leather gloves. You're going to need them as the coming "global warming" freezes your butts off.
Before we had less gender equity and everything was cool even climate, when we started to change the nature, the nature changed!
TED infected.
