Absolute..is the word I would use to describe this wonderful piece of dramatic dialog...Only last week I had watched " athe Scarlet Pimpernel"...and I will remember it well as I thought it too was wonderful ..
Words can never be enough to describe him, he was beyond words. Even Almighty Allah also loved him to the extent that He suddenly took him away from this crude world.
Beautifully presented. Alas, Merle Oberon's lines are often unintelligible. It's worth looking up the play, A Minuet, by Louis N. Parker - the sound quality of the radio recording is quite bad. Leslie Howard at least could be understood. I think he played the jailer as well. What a talent he was. What a tragic loss, too soon, too soon. The ending is poignant: Is there a heaven, Doris? Come and see. Beautifully spoken.
One can never get tired just watching or listening to him.
Great man "Leslie Howard". Quelle chance d'avoir découvert cet acteur par hasard !
Beauté élégance intelligence . Et Merle Oberon . . . !
Magnificent brilliant impeccable performance of Leslie Howard
Really interesting -- and such gorgeous photos!

"..you plucked a 🌹 rose,
for we were alone,
for cousins need,
no chaperone."....This was an interesting lyric to a lovers poem.
