Coach Michele, are my CNA/PCA/PCT employees able to take vital signs and blood glucose during set intervals for private clients if it's in the care plan as designated by the RN? I understand that vitals and phlebotomy may not be in the scope of practice as a companion/sitter, however, for personal care and for the purpose of charting and providing information to the RN, I was wondering is this allowed or only to be done by an LPN/RN?
Thank you coach Michele. This is a nice breakdown of the individual categories/ services.
Great suggestions! ❤
As always great information thank you
