I actually have the same book. I have the roundhouse set. And what's pretty cool is that I actually have the table used to display the set from the shop I bought it.
That’s awesome to hear! I never had the roundhouse set growing up. But I am planning to re-create the 1997 version of the roundhouse set I almost have all the pieces I just need a pedestrian bridge, the lighthouse, engine works shed, in extra pieces of trees and human figures
@@skythewolfgon5843 oh wow dude that’s really cool! I’m kind of jealous but we all have something from our childhood that are collectibles today. And we can appreciate the things we do have! Also I recently got a tomy douglas from Japan. Planning on reviewing it soon when it arrives
4:405:085:496:216:427:117:568:309:239:459:59 Like seeing the Thomas wooden trains, rolling stock, other vehicles, Cranky, Boulder mountain set, Sodor bay bridge, Sodor scrub and shine and deluxe roundhouse.
It’s really interesting that skarloey never had a complete overhaul in wooden railway (outside of some tiny graphics changes) in 2013, when mattel bought the brand in the early 2010’s.
You’re not wrong! Scar Louise model didn’t really have an updated one until Mattel bought the TWR. The Tomy model looks pretty much the same with the exception of painted details on skarloey and I believe a darker shade of red on the Tomy model. But when Mattel came in, the model’s face finally got updated. If you had a pick between the old style learning curve or the Mattel model, which one would you say is the better model of Skarloey?

I founded something similar but from Take Along.

@@retronostalgiafan8635 I still have to be partial to the older version, but I love the graphics on the newer mattel model.
@@mellojoe9421 that’s really awesome! For me personally, I see the old style 1996 to 1998 version of skarloey is my favorite.
Retro Nostalgia Fan do you like god and jesus and horror movies and music?
