That is why I think you can see such precision in his dancing. As a child, he fell in love with dancing after seeing the Nutcracker and he told his parents that he wanted to do that. So, his whole foundation with dance began with ballet. He says, that if he hadn't been bribed by his father to audition for SM Entertainment, and if he hadn't become a Kpop star, he probably would be a professional ballarino today. But what you are seeing is the whole reason why Kai is considered one of the top two dancers in the industry, because there is pretty much no style of dance that he can't do, and he does it better than almost everyone. (Taemin from SHINee -- who is also an SM artist and Kai's best friend since trainee days, as well as a fellow member of SuperM -- is the other top dancer.) And the title of the industry's BEST dancer isn't just a fan's opinion, but it's a widely agreed upon title bestowed on both Kai and Taemin by their peers and the industry as a whole. There is literally no one considered better than them. Kai became a trainee with SM Entertainment when he was about 12 -- he debuted with EXO when he was around 18 -- so he has been honing his skills and dedicating himself to become one of the best in the industry for years. This is Kai from EXO. 'Reason' is one of the songs from his first solo mini album (self named) "KAI". For this mini album he released FILM: KAI which is a compilation of all the songs on the album + amazing choreography + mind-blowing cinematography. He's been dancing for YEARS. He started ballet training in third grade and started jazz in fourth grade. When he became a trainee for SM Ent he started to learn lots of different styles. For this solo debut, Kai held auditions to select the background dancers, and a big part of them are choreographers themselves! He is one of, if not, the best dancer in Kpop. Yess Kai be eatin this hiphop choreo but his main background was actually jazz and ballet when he was young. He trained for a few years in their company tho and eventually learned other dance genres..which now made him become an all rounder and arguably the best dancer in kpop. Choreographers and dancers all have high praises for him, like u do, and one kpop choreographer even said that they are glad kai didnt pursue choreographing dances cuz he would just dominate lol he is just a monster when he dances and it's not just bcs he has the talent but bcs he is crazy passionate abt dancing. This was prolly also choreographed by Kasper same as Lay's Honey coz it had the same vibe but I'm not sure it is just a guess. The artists dancing with him are NOT part of EXo and one of the female dancers is prolly NOZE who is kinda famous and competed in Street Woman Fighter.

KAI is part of EXO (same group as LAY ZHANG) and is considered as one of the best idol dancers. He is EXO center hence the CONFIDENCE. This was prolly also choreographed by Kasper same as Lay's Honey coz it had the same vibe but I'm not sure it is just a guess. The artists dancing with him are NOT part of EXo and one of the female dancers is prolly NOZE who is kinda famous and competed in Street Woman Fighter.
the choreographers for Reason are Vata and Bada Lee, and the two dancers in the beginning were Bada and Mihawk
