In my house... When I was a small boy... We didn't have mobiles and gadgets... So in the evening at 11pm all of us used to sit in my parent's room... And the radio was switched on playing all the old songs from the Golden Era of our cinema.... I'll never forget that... All of us sitting peacefully... Just listening to the music... That was priceless...

This reminds me my childhood, when no Western or American movies were allowed in USSR. We were watching in cinemas mainly Indian movies. I love voice of Lata. Beautiful song and melody. Though I understand nothing but still touches my soul. Time passes but good to see and read that so many of us still love that era. Enjoy it.

chanda o chanda kisne churai teri meri nindiya ,One of the best songs I've heard........ awesome. We don't hear these sort of songs anymore - Sad You get an out of the world feeling. I had heard it in the early seventies as a young boy. Didn't know it was created by Rahul Dev Burman. Knew it is Hindi, that's all. Both the versions by Lata and Kishore are sweet. The lady Sadhana is so sweet I wish I had married her in her young age, though she is much elder than me!. She represents the womanhood I worship. What sweetness, what dignity, what lean figure...No words of praise are enough for this. Great
