Always loneliest surrounded by the ones I love the most. It's hard to accept comrade and compassion when you feel like you don't deserve it. We are harder on ourselves than anyone could ever dream of being. Pushing away any sort of kindness or connection to punish ourselves, ruminating on past regrets we can never repent or redeem. Surrounded by everything and nothing at all.
