Your lineart is actually everything
I don't think they tried hard enough to incorporate peach's actual personality. Peach is gentle, well educated, competitive and very much a girlly girl. They gave Bowser a sort of fitting personality but not anyone else. I don't think the people at illumination knew much about the series.
Miyamoto said in an interview this is what he wanted Peach's personality to be all along, and you can tell the entirety of Nintendo held Illumination at gun point during production

Ooo peach looks so wonderful with how you draw! And peach is one of the best characters in the movie besides Luigi I loved Luigi even if he only had like 15 minuets of screen time- overall the movie was great just like ur drawing ❤:))
When I went to see the Mario movie everyone in the theatre (except the kids ofc) started laughing when lumalee came on screen and said the things that they said.

Heard there was a lot of controversy on peach 'having daisy's personality' which I can understand, but peach isn't ENTIRELY the 'damsel in distress' we know her to be. She is seen in several games (and one of her own!) Where she kicks bum for herself. 🤗 I was glad they still included that side of her in the movie aswell.
I totally agree but I also feel like it would've been nice for her to kick butt and still have her normal soft personality.
It would be a nice change of pace since every time we get a strong woman in a movie she has to be this tomboy kind of girl and I feel making peach a capable fighter and still having her elegant soft personality would've been a nice change of pace.
It kinda hurts that they just decided that the only way for peach to seem independent was to make her this tomboy kinda personality which as people complained is more like daisy she's the more in your face roughhousing kinda girl and was a opposite to peach kinda how Luigi is a opposite to Mario.
So over all loved the movie but wish the didn't feel the need to change up peaches personality also not disagreeing or trying to cause a argument or anything just wanted to respond 😊😅

My favorite part of the movie was the Mario kart part. It's mostly because ever since I was younger, my family had a bunch of Mario games for our Nintendo 64. My favorite game used to be Mario kart, and my favorite map was **drum roll** rainbow road! That was also the map used in the movie and I loved that little detail! But I still do love the whole movie and are up every bit of it, no crumbs left on my plate! It referenced so many games and maps and gave Peach a badass personality to fit in! So yeah! I loved the movie too!
