When we met he said he was with for 10 years and they were going to break up when she got cancer and he took care of her until she died. I found out before we stopped talking he always goes up to her daughter’s house for Christmas. It was a few weeks later he stopped talking to me. I asked if he was going up to she her and he said yes. Haven’t heard from him since the day before Christmas. The "cancer treatment" probably killed her. Very few men look after sick loved ones especially wives/partners. So he is a gem indeed.
