To me, it is speaking to those among us who use less than honorable means to get ahead. It can seem like they are succeeding. What Winger is warning, or maybe predicting would be a better word, it that it will catch up with them in the end. So, if you choose the path of dishonor, expect that dishonor to catch up with you, eventually, in one way or another. Winger, by the way, has been around since the 1980's. They haven't produced an album for quite a few years, but came out with a new one in the beginning of this year. From what I have been listening to, the band has matured, while keeping the same basic sound.
