“Sober” is another song in which he’s extreme with what he reveals about himself - stuff that most people would never tell ANYone who didn’t already know. But it’s crazy how much songs like this touch people & help them to understand that struggles can be overcome, and really bad decisions can eventually be left in the past, even though they can’t be forgotten.
It took balls to make this song ..and the video by Nova is one of her best at the time .. the old videos are all done at their house .. simply anazing artistry
Great reaction again bro 🔥 Tom has been battling Demons most of his life he had a mental breakdown about 6 years ago which changed him and the haters where being vicious telling him to kill himself he refers to this in the song This House and Balloons but the best one would No Response The reason he's independent is he used to be with a record label but got dropped after the breakdown but once he started putting his music out and they saw the fan base he was creating they have tried to resign him but he refuses has they only cared about Money and ripping the fans off so after he had his breakdown he wanted to do more social topics that affected everyday people getting away from the rappers that only seem to rap about drugs, money, cars and Women so he exposes the lies and propaganda the elites and media where using to take away our rights and freedom he knew a record label would never allow him to release the music he does so they tried to silence him but because his fan base was now so big they couldn't so they hate on him There are only currently 8 people in his team that's Himself, Nova who shoots all the videos , His Sister and Brother In law who deal with the marketing and merchandise , Evan Morgan who mixers the tracks , His Mum and Dad who help out and Jarrod Potter who does the FXS helping Nova they build all the sets themselves they are an inspiration to their fans the respect we have for them can't be measured I hope this gives you a little bit of background that will help you understand Tom a little bit better You also need to check out Novas music she is one incredible person and artist in her own right Lost Girls is a really touching song but she a badass without a doubt Much love from the Hangovergang and to all my fellow HOG fam much love and stay safe ❤

Some of his earliest stuff is pretty good examples of where he started mentally. "If I change" , "wheels keep turning" , "hang on " , "the batman trilogy".... all of those were before Nova .... he was a very different man , but still a great artist . Many less tattoos too lol . Maybe one day you'll check em out .... I enjoy your long reactions, it shows you're paying attention to the content and #HOG will always appreciate that .
He once said in a live stream, that he had a friend that called his parents and told them that he was send Tom on a plane. He stayed his parents basement for a couple months to get off drugs and alcohol and get his live back on track. This is one of my favorites from Tom, my take is that we all have demons that will tell us things like You are not good enough, No one like or love you, but then we have the positive side that say you are not those things.
One of the most interesting facts about this video? Tom & Nova (his GF and video choreographer) - made this video IN THEIR HOME during the C0V!D lockdowns.
Tom is super competitive, even with himself, which can put a person under a tremendous amount of internal pressure: He is a perfectionist, but also has issues with depression and self doubt, which is what this is all about. It is what therapists call the inner critic: We can be harder on ourselves than anyone else could ever be to us.
