How have I only just discovered this? The handling is beautifully relaxed and very easy to follow. The handmade cylinder is lovely, too. Fantastic work, Sam.

That was a wonderful routine. Very different from other Cylinder and Coin routines that use four coins. Excellent ideas.

I am a knife maker and I do make a sheath every now and then I did make my own leather cylinder about two years ago and I also have a milling machine so I made a Ramsey stack out of the steal Barber Dollars. I think I will break it back out a work on the one coin version.

Vey very nice and casual. I too have always loved the Ramsey cc. Never could come close to being able to perform it though. I tried. Perhaps this one as it is a little pared down but be in my ballpark of skills.

Hi, Yeah I stopped doing the marble dyed ones as its pretty messy and most people just want an understated colour like black or brown. But email me and Ill happily make a marble dyed one for you. sam@vagabondleather.co

    Hi Sam,
First of all, it’s a lovely routine.
I’m a year late, but I can offer some insight as far as credits go, Albert Goshman’s “coin under salt shaker” has some similarities to your routine. Tom Stone used the presentational premise of sneaking the coins into the tube for his varient of coin and cylinder, his opening moves present a similar effect to your routine (albeit he ends up taking a widely different approach, as far as the whole routine is concerned.)

In general I discourage people from discussing methods in public forums.

    • @marmatt2010

@@MagicPeaceLove Understandable, however I spoke very broadly in terms of credit and presentation. It would take someone already familiar with the craft to gain much use from my words.
