countrygirl countrymusiclover I don't see what was your point of responding to someone laughing at a comment. Not to mention the fact that you're 25 years old. You could've just said "okay," and move on.

      countrygirl countrymusiclover 1. I'm not a kid. I'm a preteen.
      2. I'm on the bus to go to my school.
      3. I thought I ended the conversation. Who's immature now?
      4. I can go on the internet. My mother gave me permission as long as it's safe. Also, I have more interest in 80's music more than the "fire" that these rappers "spit" today, soo, am I wrong for watching a genre that I like?

I remember how there was so much aerobics on tv and the styles the girls wore for it. Looks funny now to see it in 2017? I remember the "feathered" hairstyle too. Just about all of us had it. I think it looked good on the people who had the right type of hair and knew how to do it "right"! I rather liked the hairstyles of the 80's...most looked great on the girls! Being born in 1965 the 80's were "my time" and my "heyday" and loved just about every minute of it...apart from the braces, awkwardness, being a short, skinny kid who was unfortunate enough to also have started school too young...AND a late bloomer to boot!! Enough about my woes LOL! How about designer jeans?? Sergio Vallente, Sasson, Jordache just to name the 3 that come to mind. What boy back then didn't go ape shitt for a girl with a nice bod in skin tight designer jeans??!! And sweater dresses and French bikinis?!! Loved those too! In 1981 Michelle Lee was the pinnacle of a 15 yr old sexy, beautiful, blond goddess in tight designer jeans for me and my boys Patrick and Dennis!!!! She was unforgettable!!! As for Markie Post, she was spunky, attractive and sexy, so to look like her would be very nice indeed!!

Radio stations played this three times an hour when "Physical" was at its zenith. If I changed stations, odds were that I could hear this song again just after hearing it on the previous station. "Physical" is the definition of a phenomenon. It set the tone for the end of 1981 and into 1982. Suddenly too, young women had gotten on the workout gear looking to emulate the style that Olivia Newton-John was setting here.

The way artists in the 80s could hide the meaning of their songs so good. Admit it we all thought this song was innocent but until we got older we realized the meaning😂.

I was a 21 year old college student when this song & video came out in 1981 and we knew exactly what the song was about.
In fact it was a bit of an adjustment to see this video, as many of us primarily knew her as Sandy from Grease.

As a 8 year old in 1981. I did not know much about music at the time. This song and video got heavy airplay at the time. I was really into this song as a 8 year old. It was the first time I found out who Olivia Newton John was and this was my favourite song in 1981. From that moment I got more into listening to pop music. Since then in the 1990s I first saw her musical movie Grease and Xanadu and the Xanadu soundtrack which was very popular in the early 1990s when it was released on CD, when I first listened to it.I heard she passed away a few days ago. A very good looking woman with a wonderful singing voice. I think she was a very iconic artist. Decades from now people I think will still be watching Grease and listening to her hits and wonderful voice and if you are a man enjoy this attractive woman in her pomp she was unique. R.I.P. Olivia Newton John.
