Opie started resenting jimmy as soon as they got back on air in 2004. He probably started resenting their dynamic a few years after that. By 2010, gregshells was already full blown. He was playing games with contract signings every year. 2006, when they got the simulcast with free fm, Opie started bitching about every single thing. From that point on, you could FEEL that opie couldnt wait to get out of the building. He would only do reactions and play clips/sounbite for the 2 hrs free FM section. For the 1.5 hours remaining of the XM section, he would do 30 min callers, few soundbites, one interview and some products from the show staff. Not only was he a liability to the show's growth, he was a miserable pr*ck for somebody that worked 45 min a day making millions.
