Thanks Mike. Tempted to get this for when I go down to Cornwall with my brother to his seaside caravan He's not a gamer so could be an easy game to put on the table if the weather isn't too good. Video request time. Would it be possible to do a recommendation vid for vacation games, please?* If not no probs. I'll understand if you tell me to go do my own research and not be a lazy so-and-so asking you to do all the work! lol *Edit: meant to say sometime in the late spring/early summer. Wouldn't expect anything like this week. Next week may be! lol
For me, portable versions of hive, ascension, ingenious (all 2 player competitive) all spring to mind, being quick and small box, small footprint. And I love them all. I guess sky Team (I've not played it yet, a treat in store), even pandemic, might be the equivalent for co-op, though there are smaller offerings...
It definitely could. The only hidden information you have control of is which cards you build into your deck, but since there is so much randomness in how those cards play out I think multi-handing would be fine
Thanks Mike.

Oh that’s a fun idea for a video! I’ll try to put it somewhere so I remember :)

Could this be played 2 handed solo?

Interesting, I was really into the Hearthstone auto battler for a while and never realized there were board games in this genre.
This is the only one I’m aware of, but there are probably others
At 10:10 the animator card doesn't activate unless it's on the bench, so the cards are still just their printed value
Edit: Same goof at 14:08
Great call! I didn’t even realize the robot has cards that work from the bench :)
