In today's video we take a closer look at the new for 2022, Adidas Predator Edge.3 Laceless, the $100 option in the new Pred line up that doesn't have much going for it, unless you don't know how to tie your shoes. I go over all the details that you should know, as well as which other cheaper alternatives you should probably consider, instead of picking these. I have these, and honestly these are really good personally, because I have wide feet and not a lot of boots fit my foot. But I’m not here to say that he is “wrong” because everyone has their own opinions.
so they good for wider feet then as i can’t find any boots other then phantoms for wide feet😭🥲

Okay so I bought this predator edge 4 with laces it didn't fit me because of my wide foot( i wear 8 so I bought both 8UK and 9UK it didn't fit me at all)T_T

@Teamgeist no they are pretty good, at least for the price while they are on sale (Black Friday) a huge improvement from just socks or normal shoes.
I actually hate laceless cleats but I tried on the edge.3 low and edge.3 laceless at the same time and loved the feel of the laceless. I need to point out that the toe box on mine don’t look like the ones on yours and I love what I got

I often ask myself the question if I would've fallen for this when I was younger, cause back when I was between 10 to 15 I wore takedown models all the time and top end models were something that I couldn't even dream of, but now with the knowledge I gained trough your videos, I'd never consider a take down model when I can get older top end models for the price of the adidas .2 models

That's the best where to spend the money. But for me, I need to get a job to get to there. For now I'm just wearing Nemeziz 19.3, not the greatest out there but hey, I got it for $30 and current .4 models are also around that price. I hope all of us could feel the top end models one day👑
Some takedowns are great though like the Tiempo 7 legend pro and mercurial vapor 12 and 13 . Other than that yeah most of em suck

@@ultisready9452 If you look at clearance racks, you can usually find leather mid tier boots for under 50. I managed to snag one pair of Tiempo Legend 7 pros for $28 USD and another (I really wanted that black and gold colorway...) for under $40 USD. From what I can see, you could probably snag a pair of Premiers for well under $100, but honestly Nike's Pro line of Tiempos are probably easier to find and may be even cheaper (hitting just the right balance of popularity and un-hype-ness).
Do you think they would be good for 50€? They are discounted in a local store rn so I might pick them up

Why does the spikes of Adidas boots looks so thin and may break easily? Compared to the old stud pattern used by F50, Preds, and Adipower

I honestly just don’t like the new Predator edge both boots and Goalkeeper gloves. I preferred the Freak and 20 models because of the colour way and the demon skin.
Maybe when more colour ways release it will grow on me

The future z has alot of give on the bottom.. very little support and my season with the future z was very tough on my ankles and feet. But they good to move in

I don’t get how laceless boots could possible secure your foot like a laced boot. The amount of force used to stretch it to get it on is a fraction of the forces that will be exerted in-game.

I just got a pair of these for Christmas. I’m in general a size uk11 but these are way way too small. The right is tight and the left is super tight and I can see all my toes poking through.
As they are a gift I might sick with them but my question is shall I go half a size bigger or a full size?
All of my adidas they I have had recently seem to be coming up very small. I had 2 pairs of 350 boosts they I got half a size bigger and I had to send them back as they were too small. Very frustrating
I purchased a pair of boots Predator Edge3, no laces, and the leather started to tear away from the sole on the right foot after 10 days of usage😑.
You can say the shoe is bad but if it fits your feet and they are comfortable then it doesn’t matter

I bought them with laces for turf field and i feel that my feet are not comfortabel in it sadly 60 euro for nothing and i already use it
Cmon man, don’t hate on the laceless cleats/boots since they’re actually pretty good for people with really big feet so big that they can’t even fit inside the largest size of the laced version (largest I can find here is US13 and not even half my foot can fit inside so yeah…)

I don’t understand the laceless concept , it just seems like a gimmick to me…every adult can tie there laces so offering a system that is objectively worse in every way to a laced model just seems stupid to me

i think they are marketing to kids with the prices lmao, their feet are growing and the parents arent gonna buy a 300 dollar top end shoe
This is just to cash in on the laceless hype that adidas has created since 2016.. plus they know not many parents will buy them $275-300 pair so this is a marketing tactic for them to jump on the laceless hype and knowing how almost little to no research on football boots purchase majority of the average consumers will make.

Fun fact: If you wear the same size for different brand of boots, you actually go half a size "longer" in Adidas boots. (if you are using UK for default size)
This can be seen from the Japanese measurement that uses cm aside for US or UK sizing comparison. For my case, on Adidas I wear 9uk/9.5us and on Nike I wear 8.5uk/9.5us, which is both are 27.5cm lengthwise.
The US an Japanese are consistent while UK isn't, usually I just use Japanese cm as I already used to choose boot by that.
This may be useful if you are buying online, in contrast to in store purchase where you can try and decide what size is for you
So, for example, if im a 9.5us on Nike i should buy a 10us on Adidas?
The US/UK sizing conversion is different from other brands. Not sure if you made a typo, but an Adidas 10US would be a 9.5UK, while a Nike 10US would be a 9UK. Almost every other football boot brand does it like Nike. Long story short, US sizing is pretty consistent across all brands, UK sizing is not.
@@wuitarjiro No. It really actually depends on the individual shoe. For example, my predator freaks fit perfectly (relative to my nike size), but my pair of Adidas running shoe I had to go down 1 size(relative to my nike size). It really depends on the type of shoe, so if you can got try them on, or order multiple sizes and return the ones that don't fit. Hope that was helpful.
