      @@HUNTRPOD can you please explain how you can understand why people feel butt hurt? I think you are trying to carry on a conversation where you aren’t versed in truly hunting public hunt in and hunt out. Follow you guys for a while as well as THO and from what I have observed you guys have the privilege to hunt private in several different state which is an opportunity I do not fault you for nor should anyone else. But with all that being said your context creation is not based on showing your hunts on video number one, number two if your content was actual hunting footage then all of your footage that would be on private. It seems as if your conversation with Matt Rinella has influenced your thoughts on public hunting and you are not even directly impacted by what you are saying you understand the frustrations of others about. Can you please write back to me as to how you can understand that side of the argument more than positivity and influence that THP has brought to the table as ambassadors of whitetail hunting.

These guys hunt the animal. It’s obvious they do redact certain identifying landmarks and terminology in their shows. All of this simply is the folks complaining don’t want to put in the effort these guys do and are not as successful so why not try to raise hell and try to ruin it for everyone else. • @Alberta_MTN_Bear
      @Alberta_MTN_Bear 4 місяці тому

      @@KyleAldinger that’s a separate entity the “North American model”
      Strictly hunting is not based on a monetary approach, the act itself is archaic and demands biological attention, you can try to defend that portion of it but just say exactly how you feel. Being called out for producing content isn’t a bad thing to those in it for monetary gain, It brings more audience when there’s a controversy attached. However, his opinion has concerns over the overpopulation of hunters. It’s becoming a problem and those numbers we used to see years ago have been affected by the UA-cam era.

    • @KyleAldinger
      @KyleAldinger 4 місяці тому

      I understand what you’re saying, but the reality is that we live under the North American Model, which is codified in state and federal legislation that is unlikely to change. Take the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, which would fundamentally affect the North American Model; it’s failed to pass for years. We need more hunters for conservation and hunting to work.

      Then every hunting television show that came/comes on tv is "spot burning" too. Not to mention every magazine with the yearly "best states to hunt public land" that lists the states, the tag costs and even areas. The Internet has made this public knowledge, anyone with a computer can go to any states DNR or equivalent site and see harvest numbers by county and links to public land with interactive satellite imaging. Even if these guys posted gps coordinates to the exact spot it's public land, if they located the spot, they can tell whoever they want. The only way it would be a problem is if someone gave them a particular honey hole where nobody goes and then they posted it.

      Do you really believe that the thp are very ethical hunters thats going by the books?? My 20 years of deer hunting public and private land in the Midwest. I've seen guys in the groups that's killed nice and mature bucks but not every year by the individual especially myself and my group... thp by individuals they kill 3yr olds and older state by state every year.. I believe their hunts are beyond legit compared to what majority hunters kill especially the hardcore guys...my theory of how their methods work in public land state by state, year after year. They cyber scout onx, assume where the beds are. When they arrive. They check if no ones there to scout and hunt near the beds. But im sure there's more to it than you think... I hear the method bump and dump. It sure wouldn't surprise me that there sneaking into private bumping deer to public before they sneak into the beds to hunt with all the time they got... Because most big bucks hide and refuge private. Few hide in public with all the hunting pressure...

I'm happy we have new people in the sport but a lot of them need to learn a lot more about hunting, safety, ethics and manners before they go running into the woods.

    What i dont agree with is all this 'wind bump' & 'bump and dump' crap. Every dumm dumm in the woods tries it, & all it does is burn spots down.

    If any of y’all have ever been in a large fishing community, you can’t post too much of the background or people will blow out your honeyhole. Same goes for hunting. And even though they may not be showing landmarks, as someone else said, see the Tennessee turkeys. I couldn’t find a jake last spring let alone a decent ol Tom. Not blaming it all on this guy bc he’s just making a living but dude, you’re screwing hunters over and even more people like myself who don’t just hunt but live off wild meat.

    I cant tell you how many times i have had customers in my archery shop come in and ask if and where i hunt public land because "thats what them huntin public guys do." Everybody wants to kill public land deer now because of these guys and they make money off of it. Public land hunting has become very over crowded in my region of the midwest because people like the hunting public glorify it. Just because you dont name drop the state or park you are in does not mean you are not spot burning. Like it or not, they are part of the problem.

      We need more hunters. It is a dying breed. It's a competition when it's public. Try hunting the mountains of Colorado, then come back and complain. Big guy, go buy yourself some land if you don't like it.

    He’s lying, If you wanna showcase hunting. You don’t need to say where you are. Not the state, not the unit, not even when. Just show us hunting, but they won’t because it’s about business not how much they “love the outdoors”. Instead it’s become more or less a commercial the entire way through. From the gear, to the apps that help you apply in all these states. Hunting has been co-opted as just another niche market to hawk products to.

      General Increases pressure caused by influences you can’t control. No one’s complaining they hunt the spots. Just really a state in general. They come to VA, and it’s 6- 8 guys, hunting hard every day. In a area someone has pre scouted for them and they know they are on quality bucks. And kill 2 or 3 bucks, people are going to flock. Spots will get burnt, more than likely spots a local guy or a guy coming to that area for years has a lot of time invested. You guys take the term to literal. Obviously it’s public lands.
