Bro I agree with you. My schedule doesn’t allow for an entrenched myplayer mode or other involved modes which tend to manipulate you in to spending additional funds. I’m old school…I just enjoy a good of game of multiplayer, 1-on-1 online play against family/friend or Franchise. There are a lot of videos bashing the latter modes mentioned and I understand, which is the reason my wallet remains closed after initial purchase. I have this for Xbox Series X, but contemplating on purchasing for PC to enjoy certain Cyber Face mods and other mods to improve play experience and overall graphics.
Kevin Cruz and NGF kold have some of the best dribble tutorials I've seen if you still need help. You're right tho this channel does have some great tips and does a good job of simplifying them

I struggle with dribbling bro like i have moment where i do it all perfect instinctively but its so frustrating wen im getting clamped up by steve kerr n ish i feel like i dont want to cheese but at the same time its essential to findi g your shot not hoping u wide open all the time
Your explanations of the game (both 2K AND basketball in general) are outstanding. You explain clearly and in-depth how players should be thinking while offering specific actions to take in most situations. That is why your videos are so valuable. Thank you SGO for the video. As usual brilliant work. I have a question. I play only on the Broadcast Family of the camera angles. Pulling off dribble moves in those angles are hard (atleast to me) as distance between the dribbler and defender, direction and overall side view is harder to gauge. Any tips on how to pull these off there. Camera Angle to Absolute instead of relative only works so well. Playing on 2K feels a little off especially when the realism in the side angles is extraordinary
Sorry for late reply, I've played on just about every camera view and playing on anything that's not 2K is going to end up funky control wise vs what your seeing, but I would say (Camera Relative would be your best bet) I Do Agree with the realism part thou so its a give and take

What shooting meter do you have on? And every time I try to dribble I accidentally shoot bec of the right stick being a shoot control. So how do I dribble w/o accidentally shooting
i play on a ps4, when i press L1 to get the icons on the players head it doesn’t pop, it works with R1 instead. and when i try to call a particular player for screen by holding the button on their head it doesn’t work too it only passes the ball.. Help!!!
I haven’t played an nba 2k game in mad long and bought this. I don’t understand why the joystick that’s meant for dribbling also shoots? A good amount of the time while trying these moves I end up chucking up a shot. Any advice? Can I turn the joystick off for shooting?

@@Sleycc I felt the same way too when I first started but now I've improved a lot.u need to play a lot of myleague first,and sometimes go and test moves from the tutorial menu.Also it's not like fifa where u can just pick different teams at different times and u won't feel it.Different players have different jumpshots timing,u need to play with one team for a while,from there u can start using other teams as effectively.
This game is crap. If the developers can't make a game that responds to controls properly they need to give up. The thumb stick commands that don't read when it is something as simple as rolling a half circle.
This lowkey completely changed the game for me , at least when people actually play on-ball defense anyways🤣(which is rare at anymore🫠) so actually thank you !! I didn’t realize how much dribble moves actually helped bc I have plenty of success just moving around💀 I’ve never been much of a dribble guy , at least not since like 2k13/14 or whenever they “changed” the dribbling to a more animation based style of dribbling compared to the older “complete control” style they used to have back in the day

You can actually just go to controller settings and go to joystick function put it on dribble moves
