Hey lads, I’ve been hearing constantly that the reason Will Brodie can’t get a game in the ones is because of his tank and his two way running isn’t up to scratch. Surely the solution to this is to use him as a super sub with fyfe, and at half time or halfway through the third if there have been no injuries fyfe comes off brodie comes on and can have full impact on the game without worries about his ability to run out the game. The only issue I think would be Brodies lack of versatility as a player if a key back or fwd goes down he cant exactly replace them. But we have seen how flexible players like aish and banfield have been as well the likes of pearce and cox going foward. Thoughts?
it is really interesting watching the discussion about dockers midfield with the hindsight of having seen them play an extra mid, and cycling them through forward. young 3 serong 1 brayshaw 1 darcy 1... yeah maybe a little toying with the structure is good
The guy that said Freo are the second youngest is just wrong. They are 4th youngest, kangas (23.2), hawks (23.6), eagles (23.7) then Freo (23.9). They are the 2nd least experienced.. they actually have more players with finals experience than the Eagles
Rohan Jones was one that didn't look like he enjoyed shots at goal. For me, Fyfe looks more comfortable and confident. He needs to spend more time there, shake things up and then back on the ball. Try to be more versatile to fill roles when required.
Why would Freo do that when they have a very good young midfield already? It makes no sense to me from a cost perspective. West Coast have pick 1-3 this year and if Harley Reid won't commit beyond 2025, then they should get a trade done to enter the market with enough currency for Warner.
I'd like to see this podcast promote the WAFL better. Have you seen Leederville oval it's a dump and I want at least half the passion the WAFL had in the 1980's.
Freo are probably silly enough to offer way over for a good but still unproven player just like what they did to get Jackson. And they will probably get the same result , not much improvement as their problems run deeper than a single mid, they will get one in to push one out like Darcy / Jackson dilemma! And please Schoey " Ruckmen are a dime a dozen " is that why it takes nearly a decade for them to develop and there is chaos when one in seriously injured ? Backs are a dime a dozen mate as anyone can man up and spoil !

( when they are both fit ) Worner would be the same if he came in he must push someone out, lets say its Fyfe it still means Brayshaw is kept out of his main role like this season . They have Brayshaw, Young , Serong with Brodie wasting away in the WAFL, they need another hard running wing like Gulden or a small forward before they need to throw the house at another inside mid.
@@chinathesideyoudontsee8157 Jackson was Freo's best on the weekend. Darcy did ok but struggled like the rest of the team. Brodie like Erasmus can only play 1 position & Fyfe is better than both of them

Must be Fyfe because along with Serong and Young they are main inside mids with Brayshaw playing mostly out of position since Fyfe's return So one option might be put Brayshaw back where he belongs and kills it , try Fyfe down back and get a gun wing that can go into the middle like a Gulden type or a small forward which they are also lacking? And they still have , Johnson, Erasmus that might end up ok in the middle. Or retire Fyfe , move Young back into the backline , play Serong , Worner and Brayshaw through the Mid which would work.But can you see them getting rid of Fyfe ? ( talking about next year and on )
Umpiring is like the goal kicking,got worse.Add more umpires but add a hundred more rules it’s confusing!!!!Then there’s all the his not injured,late player outs,bullshit team schedules the list goes on and they can just do what they want.They are ruining OUR game,Fan walk outs????
What reason have you to hate Warner enough wreck his chances to win a premiership by forcing him into the dockers, the dockers have had the best players for years, what they don't have is the best team.

If Warner is out of contract, I think 2 first rounders get it done. If he's in contract, it would 3.

Jackson has been unbelievable for Freo so far. He made the AA Squad last year.................
