Never read the book so thank you for actually breaking down better than most people who have read them and love them why they don't like the series. I just usually hear people saying it's crappy and awful without any actual explanation as to why they don't like it. Even not reading the books I can tell the series is not as strong as interview with a vampire, again never read the series but it looks and feels like it was written with a higher budget for whatever reason. I love shows about witches and so I actually watched Mayfield witches before I actually watched the companion show interview with a vampire.
@@KatjeKat86 it’s a great witchy show. The New Orleans sets are fantastic. And I’m glad that it was finally made. Thank you for your comment. Anne Rice always said that she was considering her companion books to be used for a Talamasca ( the group that keeps tabs on the supernatural world) type show. I have heard that it may be in the works and that it’ll bring the 2 shows currently airing together. We shall see 🥰
