This was my first car, 79 Chevy Malibu but mine was 2 tone grey with a dark red interior and had the standard V 6 … that car never left me anywhere… Put 170,000 miles on it back and forth to work on the pothole ridden streets of NY. I MISS IT.
For $26000 you can buy a really nice 70’s vette that holds its value more than this .I’d give it a $18,000 to $19,000 value .

The price is a lil high. Now if it had a floor shifter, Bucket seats and power windows and locks then I could understand but she is still beautiful.
I've got a 78. It's got a 3 spd, power windows and locks, no ac, no ps, bench. Lowered 2-1.5". Its a hot rod. Whatcha think it's worth?

My 79 Landau is white with maroon interior from Texas with 86k. It has just a 355, not the "stroker", and only pulled 418 and 410 at 5400. AC too. No cracked dash. Weld wheels, 3.42's, MT tires, polyurethane bushings, Bilstein shocks, Edelbrock sway bars, original trunk spatter paint that looks like 1979 still, car honestly looks like new inside and out. If they can get 26 for this, which they won't, mine should too, but it's not for sale and is enjoyed by my wife and I. She loves driving it and it gets as many compliments as my 66 does because they are just a nice stylish car. It's too bad greed has ruined the car hobby and I don't hang with car people because of their dishonesty. I Just build them, race them some, drive them, and enjoy them like they were intended. Nuff said.

The front seat looks like it's been reupholstered as it's missing the pleats that the rear seat has. Also, I don't believe that the original interior featured cloth on the back of the front seat either.

If I went to look at that car, I'd turn around and leave. That car shows like $8000 car on the outside that still needs work. Definitely not a $26k Malibu.
