Nice one. Liked the throwing with different flights, the smaller flights seemed to make it spin whereas the standard flights kept it stable through the air.
Cheers Ian! I have been meaning to add that in a long time to see what the affect of the different flights was, the standard are my usual setup and they flew the smoothest :)
your only about the 100th person who has asked me that lol same as a few below I am waiting for my set to arrive, thought I would have had them by now but still not got em, everyone is keen to see that review though :)
Great Review!!! I only started playing darts about six months ago. I don't seem to get on with darts that are over 50mm. Could be a balance issue of the particular dart..not sure. Love watching your reviews though....hopefully you can do a review of the Winmau Witlock's...cheers.
Thanks Kevin! Yeah its something you will find as you play but I always hated darts over 50mm as I usually grip right near the nose but this past year I have throw some 50+ barrels well so who knows, you can always alter the balance a little with stems and flights, I have some Whitlocks waiting :)
Thanks mate, I don't use in on the reviews because I have some studio lighting on and if I have the board lighting on too it kind of mess' up my camera settings :)
Great to finally see a reviewer for dart stuff. Instant subscribe, you go in so much detail, keep up the great work. Hope to come across some darts with high front grip ^^. As for the James Wade being at the recieving end of 9 darters, i think its cause of his rhythm. No matter when or where he will throw between 95-100 on average and 60-80% on doubles. You know what you get with him and i would think that can give some feeling of comfort/ease/relief. You know whats gonna happen ^^.
nice darts :) silly question to ask but see you're a natural front gripper, do you see players changing their grip like if a front gripper is struggling, they change to center or rear grip? I love that camera shot in slow motion how the dart flies that's amazing like
Hmm, I thought I had replied to this but its not here, so I don't know if YT has a glitch as it seems to happen with a few comments of late? But I have always been a natural front gripper but tried a few times to get used to a centre grip but it never feels right but I have never seen a player change their grip in a match, may be some do?
Darts Review Channel oh did you get the comment that said "failed try again" lol ah right see cause I'm one of those players lol I want to do that too with that camera angle. It's amazing how wobble the dart get when hitting the board in slow motion lol
Thanks Paul! I know a few front grippers that use the Priestlys but I always felt a little awkward with them, but its one of those darts that is kind of weird enough that you don't know until you try them, so I think you will have to just get some to see really :)
No worries, but you have to be careful sometimes as you could just be having a bad patch and if you start chopping and changing it could make things worse, how long have you been playing and were you previously playing well with the Fordhams?
I changed my throw just last night to a more consistent steady throw and I have recently turned 16 and been playing with the Fordham's for about 4-5 months they improved my game to begin with
Ah, well if your throw has changed then its likely the reason why. Why not try a slightly front tapered barrel, check out this thread on the forum: www.dartsnutz.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=14700&page=2
Off hand I cant think of any that are an exact match but I am sure there must be some that are similar. Is a little strange why they did not make a soft tip version though.
Yeah, great spot! You know what I was so wrapped up in doing the review I never even noticed lol, it looks to me like I got a 25g set in a 23g pack, funny thing is I was going to comment that they felt heavier than 23g too lol, oh my bad, sorry guys, its been a busy time of late :)
Darts Review Channel wow you always get the weird items, I remember you had pentathlon darts that were 1 gram heavier than they were supposed to be... time to send a complaint letter for some discount? ;)
@@DartsReviewChannel True! I suppose, looking at this been 6 years ago, you don't really remember the Quality of the balance? My match darts are the Winmau Adrenaline, looking at the dimensions they are very similar in dimensions but I like the balance of the Adrenaline, which is unseen of all my 90 darts. Do you think the balance is comparable of the Adrenaline, with this one?
@@willabrams9449 Memory is really strange, I find a lot of things hard to remember now, probably the very early signs of the hereditary dementia, was only talking to my old friend this morning as he was telling me his grand daughter is leaving school, I said I cant believe she is leaving as it only seems like a couple of years ago that she was just starting infants! Its like that with some darts reviews I have done, some feel like I did them last week and others I cant even remember doing them lol I really cant remember much about these ones though, sorry :)

Hey Darts review guy first of all love what you're doing on the channel keep up the good work and second when will you start reviewing different styles and sizes of dart points? I use longer points and not as accurate when using standard points
Hi Stu, thanks for the kind words and glad you like the reviews :) To be honest I don't like some of the points with grooves or laser etching in them, I find they rip out fibres from the board so I personally prefer to stick with normal smooth black coated ones mostly. I have reviewed some Voks Tornado points and Target Conversion points though. I find points over 30mm don't suit me too, if they are too long it upsets my grip. Also if the are less than 25mm I find I cant rest my finger on the point the way I like to. Which points did you have in mind for a review?
Cool I totally get what your talking about. But I'm not as nice to the dartboards lol but with my experience with the long points 38mm black smooth points on my 23g Whitlocks isn't as harsh on the dartboard as my gf's target storm points. These bad boys beat the shit out of my dartboard lol
Is she using the grooved Storm points? I like the idea of the Storm points but heard a lot of people have problems where they broke so it put me off using them really. I think with points though there is no right or wrong as its a bit like stems and flights, people like a long point for various reasons, one is they may want their darts to have a long point so the nose is further away from the board and thus improve the chance of grouping the darts, or it may be they just want to alter the balance of the dart a little and the longer point works well for that, with me I like to rest my finger on it and if its too long it makes my grip feel strange :)
Darts Review Channel yup she is using the standard size target grooved points for a couple years now. Other than the dartboard damage she loves them. 22g Lighting storm target Darts
Darts Review Channel thanks!! It's a weird one, but if you got the chance I'd love to see you do a Jelle Klassen review. Don't know why but am always drawn to his darts!

That's where I bought them from years ago but I thought they stopped selling them, I had some but swapped them with someone, sadly Nixy died but I will always remember when he made that amazing comeback against Wolfie :)
Darts Review Channel yes a great final. I would have loved to have seen Nixy win it looking back now. i just bought the set of 26 grams there last week but i would love to see a video of you reviewing them 😊
I own these darts, and was stoked to see them on a review. They do work better with standard flights, and I also put shorter shafts on them.

can you do a reveiw of the new ted hankey darts ?
I will eventually another set that I like the look of :)
The weighting part shows 24.9 something grams, but the intro and video title say 23 gram.. little mix-up?

any chance of barney phase 4 23g review...
This may be a stupid question but it's been 15 years at least since I've played darts. Are darts still made with spring shafts?
There is some shafts you can buy that have a spring, think they are called Vibro shafts.
DiDid you get them from red dragon
no mate
Have you done a review on the Simon Whitlock darts
Which ones?
Any of the Simon Whitlock darts
Who's your favourite darts player
Barney
yh i love his play SF this world chmpionship for me
:)
Weird that they say they're only 48.3mm at their site. Would love the long and thin part of it but the slippy middle part is a negative point for me
its not the first time I have seen such mistakes :)
