- Death returns to claim the lucky survivors of a deadly bridge collapse
ABOUT FINAL DESTINATION 5
Death returns for another wild ride in the latest "5nal Destination." With the series' original producers on board, a script by the red-hot writer of A Nightmare on Elm Street [2010] and the eagerly anticipated remake of The Thing ... and Jim "King of the World" Cameron's protégé Steven Quale behind the camera (as he's done for both Avatar and Titanic), this latest lethal thrill ride follows on the almost $200 million worldwide box-office of the fourth installment. With a cast that includes Heroes' Nick D'Agosto, The Walking Dead's Emma Bell, Friday the 13th's Arlen Escarpeta, The Office's David Koechner and Candyman's Tony Todd (an original alumni of the "Destination" series), The Grim Reaper's sure to have a field day with life-threatening 3D sequences including a suspension bridge collapse, laser eye surgery gone wrong and other fiendishly clever ways to perish!

i love how the bridge falls apart for literally no reason
Did you watch the scene with your butt or what ? 💀💀
That's what final destination is all about 😂
It's death orchestrating it. Like, the actual entity of death is concious and predatory in these movies
You could say it was caused by... a Calamity.
I wouldn’t say “no reason”. Construction workers were cutting holes into the bridge as part of maintenance work, which presumably compromised its overall integrity. The gust of wind may have been enough to aggravate those weaknesses and overwhelm it. There’s a news report in a later scene discussing that actually.
Anytime you see a logger truck in a final destination movie, you know stuff is about to go down.
Yeah, it was real freaky to see the truck outside the plane window in the first film...
Shit is about to get real ahh vibe 💀
That's where I totally lost all interest. Logs don't DO that! They just lay there.
Escalators don't take 10 minutes to eat someone (of the 15 or so nasty accidents that happen worldwide, still WAY safer than regular steps=1,600 deaths) and they only have gears at top/bottom. NOT in the middle!
People die in all kinds of dumb ways every day. Lots and lots of material to use.
Not this unrealistic, fakey-looking bs. HATED 3+ in particular. Loved 1 and 2. Even tho, there's NOT enough room for the bus to hit her w that much force in 2. Look at where it had to have come from. Construction. Not enough room to go that fast.
But it WAS cool, so I'll give it half a star ✨️
@@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 imo that's what I kinda like about this series, Death in our universe is a force of nature that's just obeying the laws of physics. Death in THIS universe is sentient, sadistic and acts on its own laws. It doesn't abide by the laws of physics, it abides by its *own* laws.
Whether they died here or after that is just as horrible! Watched the end & realized it is the prequel to the 1st FD. Brilliant!
Besides Saw that was the most shocking ending to a horror movie I've ever seen. I had to immediately rewatch it in a different context. Brilliant. 😉👍
4:00 director didn't pay attention in physics class.
😂😂😂
If you can explain it please?
@vanhansel100 gravitational acceleration g is the same for everything. If the bus is already falling and that guy is in the bus, he can't fall faster than the bus, he should be floating.
@@supermonkeyyyyyyWow what a great explanation
That's death in FD movies. It just pushes things, or in this case, people. Like, "nah, you are a horrible person, die harder".
Final Destination disasters are all awesome. This one was extra impressive.
@@gabrielcayton3261 এই মুভি লিং দেয়া যাবে প্লিজ
The bus falling in the water with the guy defies the laws of physics.
THANK you for pointing that out! That scene has been bothering me so much.
Hi
Is it?
@@UmanadhUmanadh Yes. If a bus falls off a bridge/cliff with people inside, They will practically be levitating towards the back of the bus. Not on the windshield.
Wouldn't they be floating?

That's the second movie.
Nope we do not and your not supposed to drive behind any heavy load equipment vehicle semi trucks 🚛

Actually, what keeps me from driving behind any semi-trailer if I can help it was seeing the burned-up husk of a car that got caught between two of them. Saw that long before I saw FD 2.
I've been waiting for Final Destination 6
I think the new one is going to be on a cruise
@cade.s The sunbed scene traumatised me, lol

Final destination was my anxiety 101 professor 😂 my brain was definitely turned off in order to enjoy this.
Is this true ,or its a movie
These Disaster scenes in these movies are great.
6:41 very impressive shot and effects
One of my favorites ever
Can't wait for 6
I Can Watch Final Destination All Day It Keeps Me On The Edge Of My Seat 😮
The log truck callback is so genius!😭😭
Well since this is a prequel...
They don't DO that. They just fall and lay there. Duh. So=not scary. Watch the extras.
There is no way there would be open construction on that bridge. It would be closed off 😂😂😂
Remember that escalator 10 years ago
But come on, it's movie logic. let it be yo
very well-staged and quite eerie and terrifying. Seems very real. Adrenaline rush.
👌👌
The gymnastik part scared me for so long
I was just waiting for the girl to step on the nail omg 😭

For me the second best movie of the franchise. Third is the best.
I think that final destination idea is the most genius but scariest ever
I Kinda feel Bad for the one coming out of the Toilet on the Bus falling in the lake 😮
Well atleast Its not real😅
.....😂😂
Comforted knowing that someone somewhere is writing new ways to die for next FD film.
No point in viewing this if you remove the best parts.

When you think a giant bridge can be made out of paperclips and plywood😂
The girl couldn't move because she couldn't see without her glasses, but she saw that the car was going to fall on her! 😂
5:07 Her eyes are blinded like Velma. She couldn't see everything.
2:38 The music sound. It's Kansas - Dust in the Wind.
Final destination 5 is first movie in series i have watched
Look I wear glasses and I can still freaking see without them. I’d be able to still see to escape. I’m tired of these movies making people like there 100% blind without there glasses.
I can literally see nothing without my glasses that’s how blurry my eyes are
@ but you can still see to walk around if you had too. Like I can still see it’s not as clear but I’m not 100% blind.
@@ryans413 no. I genuinely can’t walk because I seriously cannot see anything. People have different eye sight you know. Just because you can see without your glasses on doesn’t mean everyone else can.
People have different eye conditions than you.
@@taylormoran3505 but your not blind if you wear glasses because you wouldn’t be able to see anything if you were blind. You can see just not clearly that’s why you wear glasses. But my point is you can still see to get around if you had to without your glasses it just be a little blurry you wouldn’t be 100% blind. People that are blind see nothing but maybe shadows.
The concret in the bridge has no rebars..😂
I love how obvious it's Vancouver.
I can only imagine those who went to the movies to watch this and stayed seated for the entire movie, only to realize that the main characters die in the end.
Very cool living in Vancouver now and travelling across this bridge a lot - to watch it in this scene
I loved this movie it just had many scenes that were brutal
Si buenísima 👏 saludos
6:03
Nathan: Sam, wait for us!
Death: Nope, you’re coming with me.
I don’t think Nathan would’ve blown up from a cable hitting him even tho it was that fast I think it’d just drag him with it but cause lots injuries but when he lets go he die
main lesson is if you see a truck carrying logs, immediatelty get off at the next exit
That's dumb. If that happened, they just LAY there. Watch the movie extras.
What if logging was the only job available? Would you take it?
I love how the movie points out every single detail
Like the moment you see a pin fall off the table, you know something terrible is about to happen 😤😤😤🤧🤧
Well, when you have a premonition, it really is like that.
I was once on a bike, and everyone was driving REALLY weird. They were spaced, all going the same speed, like the Blues Brothers before the guy comes blasting through. Never saw that in 40+ years of driving.
It's like we were waiting. I slowed down and got away from everyone else. I KNEW the Mustang was going to do something, even tho he wasn't doing anything, but I KNEW.
He suddenly decided to get off from the left lane. They had too hard a suspension that made them want to spin. Which it did, on dry pavement, several times. Didn't hit anything and we all just slowed down and stopped at once. He got off and that was that.
Never seen any of these before. Gonna make a point of doing so now.
I live in Vancouver and will probably NEVER drive across this bridge again😂
This scene was filmed on the Lions gate bridge in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

You can tell that by the 5th one the CGI budget had hit rock bottom
If this was the least bit real that bridge would have been closed😂. You can’t avoid closing the bridge if they’re cutting into the asphalt
4:29 that poor guy was so close to live whyyyyy??! 😫😭
I know, even though I would not expect that, that poor guy was close to it doesn’t make any sense, it’s not even close. Either way I have no idea.
Death doesn't care how close you were. Even if you cheat death in these movies, it always collects. no character in this series has ever survived.
@@EldridEinherjarKimberly and Burke did
They’re deaths were confirmed non canon
They are the only two survivors
But even so, yes chances of survival are little to impossible
Hence only 2 survived
@LilyWynn53wdym not even close are u talking about Sam or the guy who fell
The guy who fell was rlly close to living but idk why he didn’t just pull himself up death probably pushed him down
Signs/clues
1. The Bus Number: 1282. Adding it like this 1 + 2 + 8 + 2 = 13. 13 is a bad luck number.
2. At 0:04, the sign shows the bridge missing some of the road, indicating the collapses.
3. At 0:07, there’s a ad with 180 on it. In the FD universe, 180 is another bad luck number.
4. At 2:05, a bucket falls and hits the concrete which holds the bridge, it indicates how Peter was supposed to die.
5. The date that the bridge collapses is on April 26. 26 divided by 2 is 13.
References
1. In almost any movie with a bridge, the wires or whatever they are called are the first things to make a bridge collapse.
2. The Northbay Bridge collapse was inspired by the Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapse in 1940. Similarly to how Flight 180 was based on TWA Flight 800. No lives were lost, with the exception of a dog during the bridge collapse.
3. Theoretically, this is the 5th major disaster to occur, but chronologically, it is the 2nd disaster to occur.
4. At 1:05, a Tagert log truck passes. In FD2 on Route 23, a log truck causes a massive pileup which kills 18 people, and in TFD, the movie theater is called “Tagret Theatres”
Wait, if this is the 2nd disaster to occur, which one is the first?
@
It’s unknown right now because the Flight 180 explosion, Route 23 pileup, Devil’s Flight breakdown, and Megatech 300 crash all happened after the bridge collapse.
I love the reference of 180
are you sure the bridge is so fragile and made of glass to get ruined because of that fantastic crack? in reality, constructions like these are able to survive in tornado and even some kind of earth-quake
Can’t take this scene seriously after watching the Ed Edd n Eddy edit lol
Parece muito com o que aconteceu no Brasil no final de 2024. Vi a cena do desabamento da ponte do Maranhão e lembrei-me deste filme.
Triste semelhança. 😢
Why is the bridge collapsing???
This one can easily happen in the real life. Remember that escalator mom case?
China. Poor kid. They didn't do much to help, right?
@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 Did nothing. Didn't even put a warning or warned the poor woman otherwise😢 So watch out people, FD has many realistic moments. FYI: Sadly they always put out there that you're solely responsible for using escalators, use it at your own risk😢
03:36 Thanks to this movie Nobody drives behind a log truck
Basic logic? That doesn't happen. Come on. Watch the movie extras.
The first time I watched this scene I was very young and it traumatized me.
0:41 The bus is Made In France, safety instructions inside are written in french ! MFGA
Is that Todd from the boys?
final destination 1 and 2 were a LOT scarrier than the crap shown here lmao, this is more comedic like watching sharknado

At least curses are allowed this time. Progress.
I have no idea of how the deaths occurred in the first. Except the log truck, I will ride behind a log truck but I am careful also.😂😂☠☠☠☠
Cannot happen. The logs just lay there. They don't bounce!
This fifth film is my favorite film in this franchise. ❤❤❤❤❤🤍🤍🤌🏾🙅🏾♂️🙅🏾♂️
ugh olivia was such a baddie i didn’t want her to die
Full movie name plz
All Final Destination was always starting at transportations like on a Air Plane, Roller Coaster, Cars at the boulevard & Bus in a bridge
When you realise this is actually a prequel to the original Final Destination, you can see the references to future films here. the Number 180 has figured in all the movies, as it was the Flight Number of the plane that exploded in FD1. So the number 180 obviously has some numerological significance The log truck that passes the bus, was the cause of the freeway pile up in the opening of FD2.
Anything in our everyday lives is a killer on those Final Destination movies! 🤷♂️????
What's this bridge made of? beach sand?
It's called "lack of redundancy." Don't think it can't happen? You'd be wrong.
Look up Hyatt Walkway Collapse. 114 killed. Largest structural accident in US.
For me the most shocking prt is the ending note of the movie😢
I dont know what the hell Candis was doing but she was going straight into the danger instead of going where everyone else was running
Our physics teacher suggested us to see this
Why? To see how wrong it is?
Logs just lay there.
Escalators don't have gears in the middle and a horrible accident doesn't take 10 minutes.
well that’s a pretty bad thing
@@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823the bridge would’ve collapsed in like idk 2 minutes
Final destination franchise is one of the very few franchisee till now where they all feel like a part of one universe - they have a very similar tone of "what's happening" but it doesn't get too gory or depressing. Hope, Bloodlines(FD6) carries the same tone and doesn't try to emulate the brutal body horror of iconic horror movies of 2020s. FD6 should have a 2000s horror vibe and keep it kinda pg13 because its just not that type of horror.
Now, this is what happens when you use double sided sellotape in bridge construction
6:04 what happened🤨
Looking back at these movies now, you really gotta wonder what the point is of the premonitions.
There's a guy, Clifford Johnson. He was at the 2nd largest US fire, Cocoanut Grove. Gets very badly burned.
Survives, burns to death in a Jeep crash 15 years later!
All movies in last prequel series(means forward stories in 4,3,2,1 part of final destination)
No wonder we make funny movies out of this 😄
হেয় বাঙালি কোথায় তোরা আমি তো হারিয়ে গেছি এখানে 🤧
Tom cruise: I do my own stunts.
The stunt:
Olivia is the worst. She acts like she is blind. She can definitely still see how the space was.
I don't like that some of the best parts were cut, I grew up with this beautiful saga and I don't understand the point of this 😢
Hmmm I used to use the elastic bands on my wrist, never worked.

Many a millennial can attribute this series to their current anxiety disorders lol
Why is there lights in middle of the bridge? 😅
Lots of scenes from this scene hv been censored/removed - How disappointing
It was filmed in Vancouver BC. I know the bridge name is Lion Gate Bridge.
Yes, I’ve been on it!
Please be good final destination 6
i mean, most of them just falled into water, so you swin to shore and that's it
It's high so the impact might cause a serious injury like they will have a broken bone
What? Um...no, you fall from that height, your odds of death are pretty high.
Isn’t jumping straight to the water the safest optiom here?
no
Boring clip- it's cut. It's the essence of this franchise.
Olivia was robbed
That is one flimsy made bridge ...
Where i could watch it, hbo, Netflix?
