Hello sir. I have question...normally it si the chromotin that is found in the cell. But then during S phase the replicate. My question does the chromotin replicate and form two chromotin joined together which then condenses to form the double armed chromosme or does the chromotin replicate to result in two individual identical chromatin that condenses to form 2 single armed chromosome and then attach somehow to form double armed chromosome?
See division always start from a diploid cell either it's mitosis or meiosis.. diploid cell means no. Of chromosome is 2 and chromosome is condensed form of chromatin only..before S phase there is a diploid cell with 2 chromosomes and after S phase there is a same number of chromosome 2 but dna amount doubles..
