Pokemon Black and White also had IR built into the cartridge as well. Fun fact if your playing hgss through twilight menu you can communicate with the pokewalker through BW

@@kikopastar3218 it means if you have a modified 3DS and use Twilight menu to load DS roms, you can communicate with your pokewalker using any IR game as a bridge.
Watch out for fake HG/SS carts. They do NOT have IR sensors built in 99.9% of the time. Also remember HG/SS isn't the normal gray cart color for ds games. :D
Yup it’s a translucent black so the IR sensor works
This is how you can spot fake games using an oculus quest pass through mode. The headset uses infra red and pass through allows you to see the light emitted. Fakes usually do not have the infrared sensor.

Why is your PKWalker split in 2 parts? I mean there is a line under the screen that goes up in the borders, mine is a whole piece.
I think it's the screen protector I put on. I used a screen protector from a digivice lol
