99% of the time I have a problem, I find one of Kenny's videos to solve it in a matter of minutes. This one is no exception. Excellent quality of info and presentation.
DEAR GOD - how did i not know about this....more importantly, why did i not just assume one could do this... anything is possible in Reaper. Thank you Kenny
If I have added effects to several items in a track, is there a way to bypass them all quickly to listen to the track "dry" ( in the same way the the effects bypass button would do if they were track effects). Thanks !
Can you please answer a question? I can't find where anybody addresses this... I need to know if you split a track into a few items, does that automatically remove the track effects from all the items? Lets say I add an effects chain to my track. It's all one item. Then I decide o split it to add an extra effect to one part. Is the rest of my effects chain I put on the track going to automatically be on the new items, or does it remove all the track effects and make me start over and add the fx chain I had back to each item? Please answer.
Dear Kenny, thanks for this tutorial. I have a PROBLEM, fx won't play when I put them on a MIDI item. Say, I put a reverb on a piece of an item, but I couldn't hear the reverb on that. Can you help? I have the same problem with fade ins/outs, also on audio items. Thanks again
Hey Kenny. Thanks for the tutorials. I don't have an entry for "Insert FX chain: " in my action list. Any idea why? Doing a little research, I come up with a way to use SWS extensions to "Paste FX chain" but I have to add the chain to a Resources slot first. It would be much easier to do it your way. I'm on Windows 10 in case that matters. Please help. Thanks!!
Love your videos... keep up the ... good work... i just wish..... you would stop...... the pauses ... every 3 words...... it makes me .... feel..... out of breath 😀
Your tutorials are just pure gold. Without you, I would get lost in Reaper and now it's becoming my favorite fully customized DAW. Thank you.

This is high quality content here - thanks for the tips!
Question: If you choose "Glue Item" in the edit menu, while the effect is on the item, does it render the effect on the item?
It does! Thank you for that. I can now create a custom action chain to do exactly what I was looking for (ex DP user here...;-) This community ROCKS!
I swear.. this man is a genius.

Hi Kenny. I know this is an old video, but how do you stop the delay tails on item effects from cutting off?

Hey Kenny What does adding FX to just an item do to the FX on a channel?
Very useful! Thank you Kenny!
