Today we go on a road trip along the famous Golden Circle with a detour to Vik's Black Sand Beach! The route takes us to jaw-dropping landscapes. From waterfalls to expansive views of mountains to a volcanic crater lake... JUST WOW. Iceland is so rich with natural beauty, we have to come back again to see more. my family and i did a trip around the entire island a few years back and MAN was it worth it!! so beautiful. I have explored many different places and Iceland has been my absolute favorite. Being a geologist, the land of fire and ice is extra interesting for my nerdiness!!

Was the fermented shark like the Korean fermented sting ray? I’ve tasted neither but enjoy watching foreigners take the bite. Ha!
Well fermented shark tastes kinda like ammonia, since the shark pees through its skin you need to let it rot. I've had it twice.

Why did I never know you came to Iceland. I love Korean food and am very interested in Korean culture and language. It can be difficult to get Korean ingredients in Iceland, but whenever I go abroad I stock up 😉 Glad you had a great time in my homecountry, I hope I can make it to Korea one day 🥰

The heated drying racks are actually central heaters (popular in parts of Europe) but designed in such a way that it can be used as a drying rack.
