I had him as a little kid but my orginal figure has since been ruined. Really wanted to get a new one. By chance, I found his torso and legs at an antique shop (all authentic) with a random head for $5. I ordered the correct head from bricklink for $5 as well, now I have him again :)
The shop also had all of the parts for wolverine from the same set on various mismatched lego figures, got him too since my original wolverine was also ruined
Last year I went to my local bricks and Minifigs and saw the Deadpool chopper set for 250 tax included. Bought it immediately. Now it goes around for 400 so glad I bought it

Excellent work, I took the easy route two custom Deadpools one red, one blue which had the more accurate scabbard in a brown colour, my swords have black handles and silver blades, so it looks close to the movie version, in both cases we have saved money, mine was 6 British pounds, which is a bargain!

The Lego people need to start thinking inside the box. Remember waaaay back when Episode 1 was new and they made the Podracer setup? Imagine getting a likesize Deadpool to build. Completely articulated. Oh, wow. I even get to build his katanas and pistoleros. Probably a multi set deal. But then remember when Inspector Gadget was in theatres and McDonald’s happy meals let you build him in separate pieces? Bingo.
I got the head 2 swords 2 guns a sword holder thing then since his torso was expensive I got a normal plain red torso with his arms and hands separate and I will just get the torso print off of the internet and I got plain legs and I was draw the leg print to the best of my ability
SPOILERS FOR DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE BELOW That Golden Gun here could be a reference to Nicepool! He took 2 of those guns from him after his Head was blown Up by The Deadpool Corps!
If I were patient enough to wait for those pieces I would have done the same thing but bricks & minigs had him for $60 and couldn’t pass up the fact I could buy him right then and now😂
I can't believe that figure is so expensive, like I bought the entire set a bit after it came out for like $30 on ebay, ended up selling the rest of the set a little later, kept the Deadpool minifigure, lucky I did I guess
@@windowone seeing how LEGO won’t do sets or Minifigures for anything rated R, I imagine that lends itself to the value of a LEGO Deadpool minifigure. Not sure why they bent the rules for it back then. Maybe just because it was based on the comics and not the movies

It’s a combination of piece #60849 and #37762 and a minifig hand

You can upgrade that deadpool with some other red printed legs

It's pretty sad how currently the (new) Deadpool torsos are available from above 100 USD, while the rest are (used) pretty damaged/cracked torsos.
As long as Lego keeps refusing to make another Deadpool figure, the resale market is gonna continue to price gouge on this one unfortunately.
