I agree with you Bridgette, the music was not appropriate, however; the organization as a whole is well respected worldwide. I have not ever heard anyone say DST is not classy, so I'm a little confused as to why anyone would post such an ill informed and otherwise ignorant statement. Let's be clear, We all love our perspective organizations, so saying anything negative about one will get you checked - quickly. Let us address "our own" sorors. DST4Life

I must say, I love my sorors and I really tried to get past the profanity but I just couldn't. Song selections are as important as your your self image when you are performing. DST is known for being an educated group of dynamic CLASSY women. Please be mindful of that FACT when putting on a show and certainly posting it for the world to see. DST4Life
I participated in this strut off (the one leading it). I agree the music could have been edited, but seeing as though we were pressed for time, it went undone. Yes, we did win! Yes, there was profanity, however the song selection does not represent what we as Delta women stand for! This was for entertainment purposes only! Now those stereotyping Delta as non-classy, please re-evaluate yourselves & your lifestyles! Stop judging my character b/c we entertained w/ popular songs. Been classy! Thanks

First of all, I agree that the music may not be appropriate. But let's not marginalize the whole sorority because one chapter decided to stroll to the R-rated version of the song. All greeks can be and do inappropriate things, but does it mean that they are not classy? Maybe you just mad cause either you are not greek and wanna be or your Sorors may have lost to them. Cause they did win and take the money home, so OOO OOOP!!! my sorors!
