Some of those lyrics were off. For example they put that Ruby said “now I cut my wrists and never motherfucking bleach it” when he said “now I cut my wrists and now I motherfucking bleed checks”. Also ties into the next line saying “still broke “
And its two guys, ruby da cherry (flow monster) and scrim (raspy voice dude).. they made a pact many years ago that they would kill themselves if they wont gonna make it with music. Hence the name suicideboys

Maybe someone already written all of this down but some info about them. $uicideboy$ is a rap duo with 2 guys. Scrim and Ruby. They are cousins born in New Orleans. (scrim is the first guy with the long hair in the song) both of them has lot of different personas that they have in their song. (also mention them in their lyrics and it can be a little bit confusing for someone who just started listening to them) Scrim was a DJ, while Ruby was part of a punk band. But they didn't really made it how they imagined it so they gave themselves a last chance saying if they dont make a living out of music when they become 30 years old they gonna kill themself. That's where the name comes from. They have lot of different projects lot of different styles so I'm sure that the journey with them will be amazing. In 10 days they are dropping their new album some singles already out from it but I think its better to listen some of their older stuff first to see how much they grow and became better. Also Scrim produces their beats with the name Budd Dwyer (budd dwyer was a politician who shot himself while was live on tv) both of them were drug addicts specially Scrim had really serious problems since the age of 15/16 but now he is 2 years sober now after basically living half of his life as an addict. He made an album about this most of the songs feels like some break up stuff but some of them is actually about drugs just Scrim refers to those as girls.
Sorry if i was a little bit long there are lot of things to say about them and if i made a mistake someone feel free to correct me. Can't wait to see more reaction to their music
Oh also the grey59 thing (or g59) well its 2 things put together one is the grey colour which is mutual (sorry if this is some stupid thing my english not the best) so not white not black. The other is 59. In new orleans there is highway59 that goes through the whole place i think. Grey59 records is the label that they made too. (or atleast signed to im not sure)

Ruby da Cherry and Scrim grew up together, white kids in Black neighborhoods on the east and west banks of the Crescent City. However, they initially veered down different paths. Ruby (aka Suicide Leopard) dabbled in punk rock, influenced by the Misfits, Minor Threat, and Leftover Crack. Meanwhile, Scrim (aka $lick $loth and Suicide Christ) was a DJ and songwriter. Once they joined forces, the result was a dark blend of horrorcore glitch-trap bubbling with booming bass, ominous atmospherics, and occultish, drugged-out rhymes.
