Join me as I build an arbor and treat our lawn using Sunday lawn care products. I've been wanting to treat my backyard with a product that isn't as harsh as most lawn care products are and this one has ingredients that you can pronounce so I knew it's the route I wanted to take. I love the arbour and your talent for making things. Love that John steps in to help you when you need it but then leaves you alone to get on with it by yourself. I have a summer cottage in northern WI.
This weekend we completed our arbor and used it as an entrance to the woods on our property. I did the build with my son and two grandchildren. What a wonderful experience, arbor turned out great! Thank you for the great idea!

I love the way you talk about trees, I feel the same way. We live in North Carolina where the bamboo is taking over! My husband and I went out and found nine..ten feet tall bamboo, my son helped me make a almost a 8
ft tall teepee out of them. I'll be growing Scarlet running beans around them left a doorway open for the grandkids to play in.

Hi Mary, the arbour looks really organic, love the look and I'm very much excited to see your herb garden as well! I have a little concern about how it will hold on with time - when I made lanterns out of green twigs, these twigs got a bit smaller in diameter once dry and the construction came loose, hope this will not happen to the arbour, I want to make something like this for my roses after watching your video🥰 and actualy I'm really impressed with the Sunday Lawn service, we have nothing like that in my country, soil analysis and custom fertilizers.. just wow) wish we have something like this one day too☺ thanks for sharing!!

Dear Mary Yoder! Your mind is so very gifted to imagine the construction of an arbor from forest materials! Wow! You are so respectful of your resources and carefully analyze which trees should be harvested. Then you carefully lay out the materials on the lawn with your tools and ‘go to town’ creating the perfect anchor to showcase your herb garden. Wow! I can’t wait to see the herb garden - - - I absolutely love herbs and would love to have a dedicated area here on our 4 acres. Right now I just grow herbs in pots and boxes. Was that thunder on Monday night? I live in NW Ohio and we had a terrible storm! We lost a 60 ft yellow locust tree plus 2 other fully mature trees on the edge of our woods and damage to 5 others. Thank the good Lord our house stood and we were safe.
