For anyone that is confused about the output being connected to ground you are right however many text and profs omit them. There is always some resistance from the drain to the ground therefore the value at the drain is high when current passes trough the circuit.
You can't connect VOUT to ground, you need a resistor or a depletion load transistor. If you flip the supply voltages VDD and GND you will get NOR functionality, you can still represent NAND with devices in series as long as the VDD is connected to a resister and the bottom device in the series connection is grounded.

as per your circuit, the output of four combinations will be zero irrespective of input..coz u directly connect ground maam..
that is not horizontal there is a technical term for it called parallel connection for which u said series connection
Resistors shd be there.mam u Missed all of them.
Good explanation 🙏🙏🙏

Circuit have to be grounded with a resistor. Otherwise, Vo will remain 0 always.
Where is load you haven't kept load
First three readings of output should also be zero
The output is zero...... U can't connect gnd directly
Building blocks ka video bhi banayega Didi ji
mam could you give us ref book for this?
kudos
output always zero as per ur circuit
You are absolutely correct mam.
Thank u👏👏
saved me for midterm
