The man is averaging almost a triple double as a center while leading his team with the second best player injured to the 3rd seed in the stronger conference. If you wanna go by stats Embiid only has him in ppg where he averages 2 more points and block where he averages 0.7 more... Everything else is on Jokic's side not to mention that 8.3 assists is ridiculous for a center

Great scorers who are also elite playmakers tend to have more impact because if they don't see a good open shot for themselves, they'll find one for their teammates and that's harder to deal with as a team because you have to be aware of open shooters, lob targets, etc. Whereas a guy like Embiid, you know what he's going to do, he's gonna get the ball on the high post, shoot a fadeaway or drive to the rim while looking for freethrows. This is why guys like Lebron, Luka, Trae Young, The Joker or any other scorer playmaker combo is having success in the playoffs. As for defense, Joel is definitely better, but it's not enough to close the gap on offense.

Jokić is the MVP even if Embiid is completely healthy. The amount of disrespect towards Jokić is crazy. They barely mention his all time great play during these playoffs, carrying a bunch of role players through the Western Conference.
